That you can compare to a cat trapped in a trashcan. This, you can't. She uses real natural instruments and she doesn't have to be autotuned. And these lyrics are complicated but relateable if you can find a way to connect it to yourself. Somebody has the emotional range of a teaspoon.

@SaintsCheat It's personal taste. I have listened to Nightwish and Within Temptation extensively, and greatly prefer Laurens music. She has wonderful lyrics, and she has other songs which showcase her vocal talent more. It is fine that you don't like her, but calling her no-talent is inaccurate and uncalled for, as well as putting down other artists and saying "listen to blah blah" as if your musical taste is better than ours. I prefer you singing solo, sometimes the harmonies come out bad.. like in "The Same Things" That was the only song i disliked, the tones were just, way too different, this one puts them in slightly but i hate it cause when there are harmonics they both are the same note but different octaves, make them about 2-4 steps up on the scale or 2-4 steps down, and i guarantee it would sound a lot better

But my music style isn't the same as yours, I still admire you for doing what you do. Play on! ^.^
