  • @1916jutland7 Keep in mind Dalton was NOT the one with the wounded leg. That was Ferdinand Schiess, Natal Mounted Police.

  • they really didn't need to spend like 15 minutes on the dance

  • so the good guys win?

  • @pleasereason That would depend on who you think the "good guys" were.

  • @ImperialistRunningDo

I think the good guys are the ones NOT invading another territory under the pretense that they are superior.

  • @pleasereason Fair enough. Prince Dabulamanzi kaMpande defied direct orders from his brother the king and invaded British territory -- land given to them by their uncle, King Shaka himself. "Zulu" comes from amaZulu which means "the people from heaven." Glad I could answer that question.

  • Great job fixing the trailer. The movie isn't accurate. Private Hook wasn't a cowardly soldier and he was a cook. When his 2 eldest daughters saw the film, they walked out before it was finished. Army Commosar Dalton hurried to have the defenses built before the zulus attacked. Lt. Broomhead was nearly deaf and had bought a commission into the Army. Being nearly deaf was why he was left behind. Lt. Chard was at Islandawana when the zulus began the attack there that killed 1,300 men.

  • great films zulu and zulu dawn.... cymru am byth, 24th south wales borderers ;)

  • @MichaelSitu No offense, but you really, really cannot compare an "oldie" film to modern warfare films such as Hurt Locker. They are both in completely different leagues, and brilliant in their own ways. Not only that, but Zulu is based on true events, so you certainly, certainly cannot compare Green Zone, a complete work of fiction with modern special effects, to a film that is nearly fifty years old based on a historical battle. If you are a fan of war films, you SHOULD appreciate history.

  • @MichaelSitu yea right lmao

  • @MichaelSitu Die in a fire

  • And a great trailer

  • this is a truly outstanding piece of British cinema and one of the greatest war movies ever made
