I have added the word ‘cover’ to the title. I did not realise how upset people would be when they realised it was not arlo guthrie’s version. I used to perform Alice’s Restaurant in folk clubs in the UK in the 1970s and, more recently, I wanted to show that Hugh Laurie is not the only Brit who can pull off an American accent. I had already said in the description that this was a Brit’s version, but, hey, why not change the title as well. I still hope you will listen to it!
