i reeboot my xbox and the fish was still not there -_-

once a slaughterfish was dead so i was like planning stuff so i resurrect it and made a few copys they are doin' nothin' but hopping!!

i killed 3 or 4 fisheis and couldn't find the rest of them >.>. The first few took like 15 seconds and i wasted 5min and couldnt find another one

Yeah, this quest is glitched. You must save your game, out of the water. Then exit to the dashboard. Reload your saved game and then re select the quest again. The marker should reappear again.

ive got nine scales and i cant find any more fish, do they spawn back or are there ONLY 12 of those fish the lake??

Yes and no! This quest is glitched in more ways then one. Simply save and exit the game. Turn off your console then reboot and reload. While in game reactivate the quest and the last fish will show up as a marker.

Simply complete missions/submissions or join a guild and progress through the guild. ;)

just practice the your skills on live targets until you get enough lvls in those skill to level up

basically, from the main skills you've chosen e.g destruction, blade , blunt ect. increase the skills until you have increased them enough to level up. or more simply until the big bar at the bottom reaches max.

In order for the fish to spawn in the lake you have to activate the quest. You do that by seeing the guy in the house across from the Wawnet Inn. Hope that helps. :)

i killed 6 rumare slaughterfish, and cant find any more. byw: this ring is great to give martin in the main quest. its probably the worst artifact.

I remember finding and fighting these things in the rain some time soon after i got outta the jail. I couldn't have been any higher than level 6. I kill the guy a while after he gave me the reward to get into the dark brotherhood. *sigh*Good times...good times....

i got six of them easy got weapon with 12 attack power just go to bravil and do the " caught in the hunt" quest and you'll get the glass sword ( the green sword that was in the fighter's guild at chorrol)

i played the game long ago and em...got lost where i had to find the guy and gave him the Amulet. Finally talked to this guy and he gave me the quest. i was lvl 2 and did the quest, did not die.

Today i play the game again but those fishes way harder than before. I got kill 3 times (Lvl 1), quited the game. Maybe first played i was Tank class( Warrior+...) now i am a rogue :((. BTW i killed 3 of em, drank 7 healing potions.

The ring gives you water breathing right? If it does im gonna kill the guy who gives it to you. Also I don't know if this is related but the theives guild quest where you have to get the Carro ring in the jewelery chest there is a amulet that lets you walk on water i got it but forgot about it and got arrested opps

Yeah, it only allows you to breathe underwater. Oh, and thanks for the info on the amulet. :D

They are hard to see to kill, perhaps if you use an enchanted item you can see them coming and use a different strategy to kill them. :D

As I mentioned earlier...this quest is glitched. You need to shut down your game. Then restart and reactivate the quest and your markers will show up. Hope that helps. :D

when i kill them in the lake it only lets me take the fish itself...not the scales....

i can take the scales from the ones in the sewers....

It wouldn't let me take the fish at all. When prompted it was scales. A lot of people are having trouble with this quest. Try selecting another quest and save, quit and turn off your console, then reboot and activate the go fish quest. If you have the fish, logically you have the scales as well. After you have the last one you will be prompted to go give them to the fisherman. Hopefully, you will get that prompt. :D

Im SO gonna spaz when a fish that looks like an eel with long pointy teeth comes outta nowhere and pwns me with its teeth. I'm really fidgity when it comes to these underwater quests, cuz its so scary, u never no wats gonna happen! So I let my lil bro do it, lol couldn't find them damn dirty fish!!

Yeah, this quest glitched more times than any other quest I attempted. You have to save and quit. Then activate the quest again.

The Rumare Lake is located behind the Wawnet Inn right outside the Imperial City gates. The house directly across the street from the Wawnet Inn is where you will find the man who will give you this ring for the scales.
