  • Are there any other mods done to this bike? I have an 06 cbr1000rr all stock and it is very strong. Just curious if the aftermarket pipe and pc3 and filter are worth the money.

  • that guy looks like whats his name from Texas Chassis Works

  • WOW 159 HP with a 1000cc engine in a 600 chasis...no other manufacturer can say that. Honda Proves them selfs on the track time and time again

  • I have an 06 1000rr and I have a Jardine slip on, power commander with a downloaded map, and a BMC air filter and I pulled 160 out of it. I know a full exhaust with a custom map will improve a bit, but honestly, is spending another thousand dollars worth the extra 10 hp when the bike already goes over 180, and can pull the front wheel up effortlessly at highway speeds? LOL I never tried the flapper mod, but my buddy did it on his 06 636 and got 125 hp out of it! For a 600 it helps alot!

  • It will either reduce the resistance caused by the air filter on the motor sucking in air...or could actually force small amounts of air into the intake limiting the effort by the motor to suck it through the filter. Hence not getting an accurate reading on a dyno...not saying its a significant difference just saying there would be one.

  • Ok your are a damn idiot- The flapper mod is an induction mod...Means AIR GOES INTO AIRBOX OR DIVERTED BY FLAPPER AT LOW RPM----which means you WONT get numbers on a fucking dyno idiot. Come up with a dyno while its being riden at speed at you WILL see an improvement. COMMON SENSE IS NOT SO COMMON!

  • @laroyhendricks Exhaust gas remains uncompromised--that is not diluted with entrained air--combustion gasses are still accurately measured. MAP numbers would and certainly DO change, which is what tuning is about. The relative accuracy of dyno testing is NOT affected--though performance certainly will be affected. Don't be so hostile, Know-it-alls have no room to learn and will be just as "smart" next year as they are right now.

  • I got 155hp on my 08 fireblade. I only have a few minor mods. What did you do to yours?

  • 159 hp at the wheel is pretty good. Nice bike. Now time to put her on a diet and get rid of some body fat and rotating mass.

I love me some Honda performance.

  • Horse power
