well u have to prepare the trick so put the rubber band through the ring and pull the ring (while attached to the rubber band) to your thumb and index finger. then take your middle and ring finger and pull the rubber band down where the ring is then in the trick let go and they will think its attached at first

the trick called "Ring Link" by Australian magician Barry Govan kills this. The ring is actually put ON the band, no doubles or any gimmicks whatsoever. The spectator can even run the ring up and down the band. Then it has to be BROKEN to get it off.Very cool
