Things like this don't make it to the news because most of the world doesn't support the war, so bad news on the news is more likely to get viewers then good stuff like this. I should know, they almost never mention all the great stuff happening in the kurdish citys of Iraq. It's almost like a different country when you go there. There are around 60-70 U.S troops stationed there incase any of the 170,000+ kurdish soldiers ever really need help. It's one of the safest places in all of Iraq.
