dude, chill! you're taking it WAY too seriously. yasmin is known for incorporating reality in her movies, you get malay people putting down chinese, and vice versa in the movie.

yes, she could have, but reality (racism) a taboo to speak about it also ridiculous. millions of people think they are better than other people, it's sad, but true. Why should she have to be 'subtle' about it? She showed many aspects of humanity in this film, both ugly and beautiful. If you're just waiting for another stupid malaysian drama with awie or erra fazira or KRU guy, then this film is probably not for you.

I love yasmin's films and adverts. She has the uncanny ability to capture the essence of life among Malaysians. When I say Malaysians I mean all races. Salute to her.
