Well, I'm very happy to found this big Hupfeld Orchestrion by YouTube. I was the second owner of it and found it in east germany 1972. I restored it by myself and hold it till 1986 in my privatmuseum in Fuldatal near Kassel. In the meantime it changed from Dave Bowers,Boston to Victorian Palace of Chicago and later to Yaffee collection,Florida. At Bonhams auction in Oct.2010 it went back to Vict.Palace. Werner Baus, Musik-Radio-u.Kinomuseum, Helsa-Germany
Nice to see a video of this particular Helios, especially since it has the fancy animated scene, "wonder lamp", etc. Most Helios orchestrions are in very high-class, well-appointed cabinets with lamps and mirrors, and when they are playing, there's nothing moving! (the music, however, is exquisite) Of course, this one is an exception.
