I remember when i was 8, I used to play this game with my big sister, when we arrived at Carnival Zone, we were deadlocked by the barrel. 1 or 2 years later, I finally successed to get over it by bouncing with the bubble on the barrel lol, and I played this zone lonely, because my sister had moved house...it was sad to can't share the pleasure of reach this zone with her..

FUCK That Barrel, how was I supposed to figure out, press Up & Down at 4 Years old, especially since I managed to glitch my way under it by jumping on top of it repeatedly, so that was the technique that I thought you were meant to use, not even Super Sonic is safe from the TIME OVER screen.

On a lighter note, when I went Skiing with my school to Austria this was on my MP3 on loop the whole time… Ahh! good times =D

Not all the songs are MJ's, though: just the 10 replaced in S&K Collection due to copyright.

Those "whoos" and glass breaking samples came straight from the source. Heck, "Jam" is quite literally in Carnival Night; those two big hits near the end of the track are actually low-quality voice samples of that very word.

Also, if you read the Brad Buxer interview from the Dec '09 edition of Black & White, you'll know that the S3 credits theme was indeed a demo for Stranger in Moscow.

What I really Don't understand is how sega has at least one snow- themed level in at least half of all sonic games and not bring any back for Generations. there are sonic and knuckles levels in both versions of the game (xbox/3ds) and NONE in either game from sonic 3 (the clearly more popular game) This was a perfect level to implement in the game and it was Ignored.

@EdmacZ Sky Sanctuary. Technically, Sonic & Knuckles is the second half of Sonic 3. I don't remember the reason why, but they couldn't include it, so they just made the second half it's own game and used it as a chance to whore out their new (And short-lived) Lock-On thing. Funny thing is, that actually gave birth to what's recognized as the greatest classic Sonic game of all time, Sonic 3 & Knuckles.
