this will make you pop your bubble made by the tv. this was a sign to stop globle warming. it will get worse . their is next year . stop going to work stop the robot slave nation. listen or die i am not a joker. your kids are not going to suffer you will.
Cool video Michael_Span! I like the smoker in the background, Oklahoma Joe's style! hope the power wasn't out for to long. Storm videos are always interesting.
I hate it when the power goes it. It's like plunging back to the dark ages. Goes to show you how dependent we are on electricity. And we've only had electric power for what, 100 years?
From Wikipedia :One of the more successful rulers in the Middle East, Sheikh Rashid was responsible for the transformation of Dubai into a modern port city and commercial hub. His famous line,
"My grandfather rode a camel, my father rode a camel, I drive a Mercedes, my son drives a Land Rover, his son will drive a Land Rover, but his son will ride a camel." reflects his concern that Dubai's oil will run out in a decade or two. Thus he worked to build up an economy in Dubai that could survive the end of Dubai's oil boom.
I'm glad you weren't on the coast, too! Our power was out for only 7 hours after Ike - after Katrina, power was out for 9 days. Now, we know how to do hurricanes! Got my generator, MREs, water and a big sturdy house, Plan A, Plan B... just in case Mother Nature wants to show us what she's got, AGAIN!
Yep, when animals feel's the sky is falling on their heads they go take cover..Somehow in many occasion very wise. Ike was mostly rainy but we still could feel some strong wind in Montreal when it pass over. Take care friend!
Ha! Yup this is tornado alley, but that wind was from Hurricane Ike. Problem is not fully solved. Seems my high seed internet access is really only at full throtle at nonpeak times of the day
I saw some of that windstorm on the Sunday night Football game: Browns vs. Steelers. Looked pretty awesome. Too bad the winds couldn't sweep the Steelers outta town!
Thank's Anthony. We luv our pound puppy!
