I was stationed in the Hampton Roads area (Navy) from October 1986 through April 1990. I saw a lot of shows at the Hampton Coliseum. Is there any footage anywhere of the KISS concert there from the 16th of October?

@BushofArabia87 Maybe, maybe not. I'm old school. There was no American Idol, America's Got Talent, etc., back in the day. And MTV was in its early stages. There was no pre-packaging of stars. Everyone had to bust their asses to get to the top. African-American artists had it tougher because in some places, they encountered racism. A classic example was Nat King Cole, one of the all-time greats, IMO.

im actually a hampton local... went to all three shows

im only like 13 lol... they were amazing shows... my teachers hated all the excessive amounts of hippies walking around... and the shows made front page for the hampton newspapers the whole weekend... apparantly 1.2M dollars of drugs were confiscated. thats crazy... i didnt meet anyone there who was also a hampton local. but there was a teacher from my school who went... and my dads friends friend won the daily press lottery for sunday ticks

man i am SO jealous you got to go to these shows! i'm 15, saw phish in concert once before they broke up...i wanted to be at these three sooo badly. you were really lucky, a lot of people i know from around here would have like, killed to get those tickets =] peace.

Watching this makes it more apparent and more painful how I will never see Phish. My life's calling will evade me at all costs as I will probably be shut out of all shows. It's not my fault I was born when I was, now I have to face the consequences of being too young to ever see Phish.

dude they've got 5 more months to prepare and get back their touch. Phish will never be mid 90s phish, but nonetheless they'll always be the best jam band ever period, no matter when they play...

It's a damn shame they're reuniting. As much as a I want to see them live, I have a feeling it's going to suck, and I will never be able to think of them the same way again. They need to go out with some dignity, not trying to desprately hold on to the tattered remains of their sad, washed up careers. I'd rather just listen to old live shows than see them humiliate and degrade themselves.

Just one of the many moments the boys pushed out some much energy the room almost exploded.

I am so effin EXCITED! What a boring 4 years it has been! NYE has SUCKED the past few years... I have caught every NYE show since 1993, so it's like a major piece of my life missing. SO GLAD THEY ARE BACK! I know you boys will KILL it this time around.
