Anyone who needs to be told what happened to Detriot (mispelled) is blind. It's the same thing that happened to Oakland,CA, St. Louis, Cleveland, and a host of other cities. Even Washington D.C. would rival Detroit if not for federal dollars that Detroit doesn't have. In 1945, Detroit was one of the most prosperous cities in the country, with a strong middle class. What Detroit looks like today is what the rest of the country will look like if Obama is reelected. Think about it.
I miss Detroit I lived there growing up back when Archer was mayor and I loved it. Although I must say as a white girl living there I never faced any race related issues. I was one of three white people in m,y class at school and I preferred it much more then the times that I've been in a predominately white school where the majority of students are stuck up and snobby. I find it amusing however that most forget it was a white man who failed our country and and a black man trying to restore it.

It's not a very good example of a then and now montage. You show events of the past but there's little connect to the present. Showing locations back then is fine but you made very little effort to see what those locations look like today. Unless your showing how Detroit has changed in social economic ways, but the film does not do a very good job an exposing those changes. It just seems to be a mish mash of old clips mixed in with some new clips and calling it a then and now.

As a communist Obama is in a good position to rebuild Detroit.
He can order FEMA and the army to take complete control of the city and rebuilt it from scratch, the jobless inhabitants could provide costless labor force, this population could by the way be reeducated. Communist China does it all the time.
Ideally the authors of Detroit's tragedy, the socialists and the Democratic Party should be sued for crimes against the humanity, but this wont happen at least while they have the power.

That and unchecked low income welfare subsidy housing. Detroit was amerikas first real forced welfare city and once the industrialists left and there was no more money coming into the city the cities finances were slowly drained by unemployed handout seekers. See the future of Amerika? The people at the top do not care about you especially if youre white. If youre white you might just be smart enough to organise a revolution and we can't have that can we?

The destroyers of America are the leftists not black people, of course elitist white liberals love to use black people to gain power through votes. @455Transam yes it is. America was defined by the industrial age and the wealth produced by industry. Detroit was the leading center of industry in Amerika. Hence as detroit has fallen into welfare disrepair and overly islamic influence so has amerika.
