I found a jr tradition tele in a pawn shop in mint condition. Only $150 out the door. I played ity side by side with my MIM tele standard. No comparison. I sold the fender the next day. Great craftsmanship with the Traditions.
Great demo, and some damn fine jamming, might I add. Where are they made? Big JR fan. and would love to pick one up used sometime. I am a recent Gibson convert. I am more of a strat guy, but have a soft spot for teles.
This is a very flat fast neck compared to a standard tele. The traditionalist in me prefers a 9" radius but I'm easy if the guitar works together well as a sum of the parts.
These are great guitars. Our local guitar shop had a used JR tele hanging around but I had never heard of tradition so I decided to research it on the net first before buying. When I returned to the store 2 days later, it was gone. Snooze I lost. It was a great player and now I see it really does have a legit tele sound (and then some). Nice playing. thanks for the demo.

how does this compare to the traditional tele neck? this looks wider and more of a raduis? 16" and compared to old school tele's you prefer this one?

Thanks. If I was only allowed one guitar, I could live with it being this one.
