you just have to press Z and then some other button and u can dodge it without even moving, simple trick i learned other than that, your pretty much screwed :D

marth is easier to control in brawl because of his "side + b" move and in melee you have to rapidly pres which doesn't work as well

links and ikes arent really that great. its rather easy to survive them with good DI. in fact, it's also easy to avoid by edge hogging, although i know you cant do that forever... but it's easily avoided in 3 or 4 player battles. but yea, marth's fs is like really good. one hit ko if it lands.

Marth's final smash takes practice, for it is sometimes easy for enemies to dodge and if you miss while in the air, you'll KO urself. It's not bad though;it's actually one of the best in the game, like olimar's, ike's, and link's. It's also one of the few atks in brawl w/ infinite range. I just wish roy was in brawl; Ike's moveset is too different from roy's and he's slower.

You dont KO yourself when you miss. When you miss, press neutral B to stop yourself.

Thr problem with this FS is that if you miss, Marth almost always flys sideways off the stage and KOs himself.

not really you'll stop at the edge of the arena if its those kinda of arenas like final destination or pokemon pillar,arenas like those,i think if you jump and miss you might fly off.but yea stages thats not a platform in air then ur gonna run to the dead zone or if your lucky you might hit a platform like the mario stage with the moving koopas and craps that comes out of a tunnel.

0%, and the heviest player in the game, which means he is harder to launch of the stage, one shot of marths final smash and they are dead imediatly, THAT is why marths final smash is the best.

EVERY FS is dodgeable. Although Kirby's is debatable.

BTW, Marth has the best FS without a doubt.

Kirby's isn't really dodgeable but if you're getting up from a ledge the invicibility frames causes his FS to not affect you.

actually, that depends. marths final smash is good, but it has to be done on a flat surface, you can only kill one opponent at a time (unless theyre really close together) and/or you have to be aligned with ur opponent in the air. final smashes differ in effectivity by stage setup, and by damage counter. also, you dont know the counter effect if he misses.
