unearth killed it at mayhem in indiana =]. they're one of my new favorite bands. I made it to the front during Kingdom of Sorrows set but then midle of a song we had a tornado watch and they had to quit and wait for it to stop. so that was a dam half hour. then we had to wait for Suicide Silence's set. It was so damn worth it when Unearth did come on. =] I got the last copy of the Oncoming Storm and got it autographed. Such nice people too. What a fucking band. =]

While that may come down to personal preference, I find Unearth much more appealing when putting genre differences aside and focusing solely on quality of the music. Unearth has very catchy, very melodic instrumentals that draw people in.

But Testament, Machine Head, Unearth and Godsmack were great, and the best was Dethklok, which I don't think anyone else gets, which sucks, because it was so epic.
