I don't see how Simon ever got a reputation for being a jerk...he's always just told it like was....if he says you suck, then you do....he says you're great, then you are......he's the only judge that makes the same choices I would.

@webzpace i agree. Simon is the best judge. Where others might be kind and say some nice things to a person, even though that person sucks so hard you wanted to cut off your ears, Simon is harsh and honest. If you don't know you suck and don't want these hard words thrown at you on a stage, then ask one of you friends the truth about your singing abilities and avoid a global humiliation.
