  • It's perfectly alright to eat one or two on occasion.

  • Great tune! I won't give ya a hard time about the flesh ripping jagged rock landing....since others already have! lol What a great experience! Awesome!

  • woa its really nice there :o

  • Pure adreneline rush!

  • what sucks is that there arent many beautiful place to like this anymore, make me sad

  • @bmxbikersbmx Those places are everywhere from Santa Fe, NM to the Canadian border. You just have to use the footmobiles to get to them.

About the catch tactics... big deal.(these people give you a hard time, yet I watch the "purist conservationalist" fight a fish for 10-20 minutes and photograph it out of water for another 5) Good fish for that altitude.

  • is it below greyloch?

  • Fabulous and unique scenery. I'm just waiting for the high-mountain snow in Norway to thaw, an unbearable test of patience. This was a nice tonic. I'm heading for some low-country lakes later today to cool my heels...

  • Very nice.

  • wow beautiful place.

  • MMM tasty fish!! My mouth is watering!! Thanks for getting me excited with still months to wait!! LOL

  • Looks like Montana.. nice vid. honestly, though. You need to learn how to release a fish.

  • thnks,4 commnts. sevral want 2 scold me 4 way fish is released... appreciate that but this lake is nearly 9600 ft. and super steep climb. sorry -dont hike in my waders & net... count every ounce (cut off handle of my toothbrsh) back is screamng & evry time i bend over i'm not sure i can get back up (not a young guy) im not wading in w my only pair of shoes & socks. only reason i dont bop him on the head & eat him is that im too tired to cook. they all swim away strong -no floaters.

  • Understandable. I've hiked into some lakes in the Beartooths that make a toothbrush feel like a Honda engine. Funny how we'll cut a toothbrush and forgo extra socks but take our whole fly vest on such excursions. The fish up there are rugged, and lucky not to have been devoured by hikers in sweaty hats like us. So what lake is this?

  • I agree with you MarkTralyor. I do the same when I fish and hike the Lehigh River, in the Lehigh Gorge out here in Pennsylvania.

  • @Tizichka no dout what a dick..

  • Shut up fun fire

  • As a fellow high lake fisherman please dont drag the fish on shore before releasing them.
