  • Only think that sucks is if u wanted to kick in the nfl, it would be very hard with that type of kick

  • look stop saying shit about how he kicks. It works for him, so there really is no reason for you to hate i mean we all kick deferent

  • POWER TO THE STRAIGHT ONS!!!!!

  • i like how you reply to everyone and just own them:) haha

  • You do not run a 4.33 40!! hahahaha FUNNY how you think you can tho :P hilarious

  • toe kickers are gay. you look like a fag when you do that. soccer style is the way to go :)

  • check out Stephen Midega. This kid's good

  • Who do you kick for?

  • Why do people gotta talk trash. just let the guy kick. give compliments or shut the hell up.

  • if you can kick like that with your toe i wanna see you kick soccer style you could prob double your power!

  • i use to be a straight on toe kicker but i kick soccery style now and im just telling u that soccer style is way more accurate and u get more power.......u should really try soccer style

  • way to go man! Bring back the straight on kick. I think its more accurate. Don't listen to the straight haters!

  • way to go man! Bring back the straight on kick. I think its more accurate. Don't listen to the straight haters!

  • Thats sweet, you kick it like they did back in the day

  • you probably could have got another 5 to 15 more yards

  • Is that a bowling shoe lol

  • what kind of shoe is that

  • is it a rule that you HAVE to take 3 steps back?

  • @jdogjr9509 no there is no rule. people take as many steps as they feel is normal

  • @jdogjr9509 No rule on the kickers drop back but I think the average time from snap to a defender being in a position to block the kick is like 2.3 seconds so that would dictate how many steps the kicker can take. I am surprised with how young this kicker is he is not more of a soccer style kicker. He is almost straight on. Nice kick regardless, of course.

  • @thepumita123 dude your stupid who cares how he kicks it as long as he makes it in the goal post 3 points is 3 points so shut up cause the kick was good

  • all this trash talk on how he kicks...but yet this is how they use to kick field goals, i dont care if its head on, soccer style, toe punt or even a drop kick....3 points is 3 points

  • All you haters need to shut up. Straight-on kicking is a lot harder than soccer style kicking and he clears the net on a 40 yarder. And people saying that its because of the tee you are wrong. its only like 3/4-1 inch tee.

  • notice this is on a tee that helps ALOT but good kick

  • using kickoff tee and toeing it not a field goal

  • im trying to kick semi pro next year, i kick both ways soccer for field goals, straight for kickoffs. longest field goal to date about a 39, im not too good, but you sir, are amazing.

  • dude you suck who kicks it with there toes now days !!!!

  • @ThePumita123 i do too its the persons preference so shut up

  • do u kick with ur toe?

  • People, how come you say he sucks when it was a perfectly executed kick?

The rotation was at the right speed, the arc was where it needed to be. Get off this guys jock. He helped me out, I took his advice, and I've added 15 yards onto my range and only getting better.

Much respect Rummyss. Keep it goin.

  • haha you have so many bad comments you should take this off

  • dont listen to those jack asses that was a good kick and this is comeing from a freshman kicker and punter my best so far has been a 53 yarder i have tried from 57 but it hit the left upright

  • Lol wow u suck...I'm about to be a freshman and I'm already kicking 45 and yes I am on varsity

  • you don't run a 4.3 and big deal its a 35 yarder. WOO!

  • nice toe kick.... that was popular in the 70's lol good try tho. ur def a back yard kicker but not college or high school tho. thanks for the laughs tho lol

  • Great kick, great form. I kicked straight on as well. Much more difficult and kicking soccer-style. My longest in a game was 43 yard. I never missed in a game, either. Practice? Yeah, missed a bunch.

    Well done.

  • toe kickers

    the worst

  • トゥーキックであの距離を入れるのはすごいです ^___^

  • i was just at the bills fieldhouse for this special event and was kicking fieldgoals from the 20-30 yard line. so i was kickin like 35-40 yard fieldgoals.....good for a 13 year old right??

  • thats old son do the soccer style

  • your right all the way check out me and my brother

    i play varsity football

  • kicking A fieldgoal

  • streight on toer. i recommend doing soccer style

  • Toe punt

  • Toe Blower!

  • holy fuck!

  • Do you have a vid of it? I'm not being skeptical I just would like to see it.

  • Really, awesome man. Why don't you just pick out the NFL record and throw it out there just to see if people believe you?

    Stupid

  • I have almost been playing football and kicker longer than you have been alive and I am only 26.. can you believe that.. At any rate, like i stated before I kick very well, and even better underpressure, its easy to miss in practice, no pressure, but there is somthing about being in a game that adds ness. and power to the athlete that I have always loved and enjoyed myself... I understand you need for approval and acceptance, just do what you do well, and let your kicking speak for you :)

  • that was probably the greatest and most accurate toe kicks i have ever seen. it just sailed through

  • @Rummyss thats the exact same way i feel i feel like my leg is weak when i kick 40's and during pregame i hit them easily

  • Wow...

I'm 17 and I play highschool Football as a kicker, and I can berely do 55 yrders without pressure, I can't do it in a game. Unless it's VERY WINDY.

  • sure you have dude

  • @TheCarbon26 I'm a toe basher and it sucks dick. Especially with pressure and pads. I just wish I knew how to soccer style kick so it wouldn't be so difficult

  • @TheCarbon26 man ur not that good... i have a friend on my team in 5th grade and he kicked a 40some yarder in practice with pads, and he can probably kick even farther then that

  • @boogy370 i was coached by Chris Koepplin and i still am. i go every year for him to coach me. type him on youtube

  • @TheCarbon26 HAHAHAH dude your fucking hilarious. i like how your bragging about that when its probly not even true. way to use youtube to improve your image. it didnt work.

  • @TheCarbon26 You have NOT landed a 63 yard field goal. I gurantee that. Maybe off a tee, which is a kickOFF, not a field goal, because the record for a field goal is 69 yards, if you are 16 and can make a 63 yard field goal, you must be jesus. Dont be retarded, and quit lying.

  • @TheCarbon26 you are a dumb ass

  • @TheCarbon26 ya right now tell all of us something thats true

  • @TheCarbon26 hey fag how about you go fuck a panda bear you dumb cunt

  • @TheCarbon26 fuck you, a humble person who cares what people think about them wouldn't brag about how he kicks, i'm 13 and I better self esteem than you, grow up buddy.

  • yea lets see if dis dude can kick in NFL ot college football not in practice and wit pads on all the gear on not on shorts and teeshirt and runnin shoes that was weak kick there was no wind

  • I am glad you asked... I can kick in a game underpressure... In fact, I have never missed a FG or PAT in a game EVER.... I played little league (pewee) football in the 5th and 6th grades, kicked then even when everyone else was going for two... I kicked in middle school and as a freshman for our JV team, then on to Varsity and then Kilgore Jr College, you can look us up.. we are the winningest jr college in tx, look up around 2004 and see that we won the SWJCFC, I was the Spec teams capt and a K

  • Isn't the PAT system reversed in Peewee football?

  • yeah, since its harder to kick, the extra point kick is really worth 2 points, and running it is worth one point.

  • @sportskewl Pads makes no difference to me. I can just as good with them as I do without them

  • this is 2009... there will never be a straight on kicker playing college ball ever again. better chance that up real soon

  • I love the fact that you kick so well, but I have one comment, I find that if I TRY to kick soccer style for a while, and then kick straight on with soccer style steps, it actually goes further, higher, and more accurately than pure straight on or pure soccer style (for me at any rate). Dunno if that's something you wanna try out, but it works for me, and it just might work for some others.

  • Tried it. Haha, can't do it.

  • I can't do it now either. But it worked, for a couple weeks, little late in my response, but who cares.

  • ok when ever its a football video it not me missy leaving gay ass comments its my brother so stop commenting back things that i didnt say

    plz

    thank

  • Your Kicks look real nice. I am a highschool kicker and I kick straight on as well. Have you ever tried to use a sting to pull up your toes and lock your ankle in place? It seems to give me greater distance and height over when I kick without it.

  • HEy Rummys thats some good advice right there man! i look up to that!

  • Happy to see straight-on-kicking still takes place. I remember kicking in HS with one of those special shoes.

  • coming from the next starting kicker at u of south carolina, as long as you get it its ok but the fact that you kick straight on just shows you have no athletic ability or kicking skills, whatever works though.......btw good luck starting the game with a straight on kick off

  • Good luck with the USC thing... I dont know about you, but I can place the ball where ever I want on the field, on a kick off, that is what I call athletic ability and kicking skills... I can run the 40 in 4.33, bench over 240, squat 545 (workout with 225) and I am pretty good at Punt Golf, soooo... I guess I am not what you think... Just keep kicking and remember you can always get better, and there is ALWAYS some body better than you out there. I am very blessed and thankful for my health.

  • @Rummyss Wow, just looking at all of these responses, everyone is being a bunch of assholes. Your a good kicker, and from your responses, it sounds like you know it, keep up the good work man.

  • @Rummyss was the 4.33 on a laser/F.A.T./electronic system or was it on a stopwatch because if it was i highly doubt its a legit 4.3

  • @Rummyss those are some wise words man

  • douchbag straigh on kicking is a very challinging thing to do not like you could ever do it fagot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • Ya well, I am kicking for Texas Tech next year. very mature comment though, at least i was complementary in my past response to the video. As far the athletic ability thing goes...it annoys me because it just furthers the stereotype that all kickers are shit athletes.

  • @bowmandrew08 you at SCSU or USC

  • Up and Good :D

  • keep on kicking straight on kicking is what i love to do and i am glad to c people also who can kick straight on.

  • straight-on kicking sucks

  • Everyone has their own style, it's like using a spoon, if someone yells at you for moving a finger off the way they do it, how would you feel?

  • nice

  • I'm not america so idk about NFL, but i do play british rugby simular balls different rules. But kicking is the same we kick it in a bombing style, where you sweep it with you're left foot then try turn youre heel a little bit to make it spin, theres also the soccer styled kick but me just call it a bulleet kick.

My point being i like how you kicked it in most matches in both rugby & football you need air and distance something not alot of people can do.

  • soccer style seems to go further. did u see the way that kick dropped like a rock, soccer style kind of sails.

  • Uhh, no, it all depends on where you hit the ball.

  • Start kicking SOCCER STYLE! You don't see any toe kickers in the NFL. Soccer style is more accurate.

  • ITS ACTUALLY NOT... When you kick scoccer styly (which you probly know) you have to turn and drive your hips through your kick.. (the danger is in the turn & drive, chance for human error) when you kick straight on you just line up and move out.. TOO EASY really..

  • another good point for me to make is working with your line- when kicking straight on you can create more lift faster (with less distance) than with a scoccer style kick- because of the nature of the kick.. This is perfect for 30yrd field goals and in since most of these are the "Easy Ones" that make or break games - OFTEN -... Again, Less Power, More Height (WAY MORE ACCURATE) :)

  • It's easy to go from straight on to soccer style, but much harder to go back, but I'm pretty sure I'm a bit better at soccer style, maybe a bit more determination to learn it. But still, you are GOOD boy!

  • On a final note.. WHEN I play in the NFL there will be a kicker kicking straight on.. ME.. :) Patience is a virtue.. Its ok to be different, just be authentic (real). Do what YOU do well, and be happy at the end of the day. :)

  • your toe kicking method is older than dirt. wake up into reality and start a soccer style position if you ever want to make it anywhere.

  • Hey michalaktcstings,

Yes, the straight-on method is somewhat antiquated. However, I talked to one kicking coach of a college team that said he didn't care if a kick used the soccer-style or the straight-on method as long as he got the ball across the cross-bar. There are pros and cons to both methods, but honestly, some guys, for whatever reason, can not get the soccer style to work.

  • take the nail out of the ball

  • Is your kicking shoe is strider or SB kicking shoe?!

  • sorry to take so long to answer, its a strider.. I got it at Pro kicker . com

  • bad technique you should kick with the upper inside of your foot and start from an angle , use your shoulder FACING THE FIELD GOAL at a 90 degree angle to aim straight at the field goal

  • I am pretty sure you mean, " Bad technique you should kick SCOCCER STYLE" its alot easier to say and way shorter to type.. just a suggestion for the future.. good luck :)

  • i a fresman i mainly play qb but i also place kick and kickoff i made a 48 yard feild goal to win the game in my first game (the only game we won) buy the way nice kick

  • ya ima freshman too..our fieldgoal kicker got hurt midway through the season and i tried kickin for the first time and at our last game i hit a 50 yarder with a slight face wind

  • if you made a 48 yard field goal you would be kicking on varsity, not playing qb as a freshman. what was it really? 28 yard field goal?

  • First of all REMEMBER Football is just a game. If you never lost- the wins wouldnt feel soooo good. :) You've been blessed with the experience to go deep into the playoffs and play in a state game, be thankful for that. Be proud of all the success your team has had, (ultimately let this go) and use your past experiences to make you a better kicker for the future.

  • --(also)-- You cant change the past but you can influnce the future :)... If people pick on you, they are not mature enough to be your friend. Good luck, keep your head up and keep kicking! :)

  • I know this is a year ago, but people shouldn't be making fun of you, they should be making fun of a the damn offense and defense because a game should NEVER come down to just a kick.

  • Unless you're up by 50 or so points and wanna rub it in...

  • Hey nice kick. I am a college kicker and soccer style kicker but yeah do whatever works for you. You could put some of the soccer style kickers I see to shame. Good Luck to you!

  • old skool style i love it lol.......i gotta get myself a video of me nailing a 50 yarder and im 16! haha

  • just curious as to who taught you to kick straight on. it's been proven that you can kick farther and with more accuracy if you kick soccer style. and EVERY NFL kicker uses soccer style. i'm not saying that straight on is necessarily bad, it's obviously working for you, but still, it seems a bit weird. i guess converting to a different style would be kinda hard

  • You know, I try to be honest and open, honestly- I do not believe that soccer style kicking is more accurate. I do believe that while the mechanics do prove to produce much more POWER the skilled aspect of accuracy does not come from the style of kicking but the kicker useing that style.

  • I have been able to get better and better of the years, I do believe that straight on kicking is easy and very effective, especially if your teams offence is good enough to get you within 50yrds of the FG (40 yrd line and closer). I hope this answers most of the questions you were thinking...

  • hmm, well, i play soccer so i guess i'm a little biased...but hey, if you can kick a 50 yarder, it doesnt matter how you do it. keep up the good work!

  • I converted from straight on to soccer style. SS has ALOT more forgiveness on mis-hits, with both distance and accuracy. The degree of difficulty learning soccer style mechanics was a loooong FRUSTRATING road..but def worth it. Anyway, to each their own. Great work bro.

  • Thankyou for the compliment.. Way to go on finding more success with soccer style. I know quite of few great soccer style kickers and I agree that its a good way to go.

  • please dont call that "DEEP" grass .... thats like a fricken putting green compared to what kickers in the Northeast have to kick in so please ... no whining

  • Sorry you thought I was whining... I really meant to point out the difference between the length of grass that I kicked on here against astro turf or astro play... compared to those surfaces this grass is long.. :)

  • wierd straight position but good kick

  • i love that your honest that you think its weird.. it is kinda old school and funny looking especially with everyone doing something else and calling it the best... I think we can be different and good at what we do- you can apply that to anything in life. :)

  • yes, thats true, enjoy your kicks

  • Hey my fellow straight-on kicker!! You go man!!! Keep it up!!!

  • THankyou Shooster11, I hope you didnt have to spend as much on your shoe as I did on mine. Too bad they cost so much for ONE shoe :)

  • Hey Rummyss,

Actually, I can't find a size 7 straight-on kicking shoe anywhere. I believe 8 is the smallest they make. Either way, the cost is absurd. I think someone could save a lot of money by using a good dress shoe!!!

  • dont u ur toe dumass kik soccer style

  • it's his damn choice. and it's working really great for him. it seems very accurate.

if you work extra hard you can be just as good toe as you can soccer style

  • some guys kick straight on, i kick soccer stlye, but i have no prob with straight on guys, do you "non kicker"

  • is non kicker" some kind of joke btw i kick for my highschool "soccer style"

  • yea, i didnt think you were a kicker,

  • o well now u kno

  • I love kicking straight on, I am extremely comfortable with it and its alot of fun to just get out and knock out some beautiful kicks when I need to let some steam off or just to get out and have fun. I especially love kicking with some of my friends that kick soccer style (girls and guys) and beating them in like horse or punt golf (i know this isnt a punting video but its still a fun game)

  • nice man, great job. i used to kick straight on but i played other positions too so i had to learn soccer style because i couldn't change the shoe fast enough..

  • Love the square-toed boot! I love seeing the straight-on guys because they're so rare these days.

  • nice

  • Wow!!! What a site!!! You almost never see a straight-on kicker these days. Way to go!!

  • TOE KICKER HAHA!!!

  • I wish an NFL team would ask me to kick extra points and field goals for them.. it would be fun :)
