Roll Tide! One thing for sure, anybody that knows anything about football knows Coach Bear Bryant was one of the best. He was a legend in his own time and still is a legend. No one can deny that.
This truck btw was 2,000-3000 brand new back when this was 795 off the sticker price....thats not the total more like 2200-2500 bucks today it would be 17-20 g's......and adjusted for all mentioned below about 90,000 dollars
@deltapunk21 That looks like a 1982 Explorer (that's the year they took the FORD letters from the hood and replaced them with the Ford oval in the grill). The Explorer could be had with any interior package and was a more limited run, basically it was the top-end Ford pickup at the time, just ahead of the XLT-Lariat. So that truck, loaded out, would run probably $11,000.00 at the time. Figuring that as we bought the first XLT-Lariat model to come out in '78, and it was just over $9k.
@youngdre95 You are an idiot the market makes things cheaper over time due to effidiency and payed off producer debt BUT the reason cars and etc is more expensive is becaufe the inflation the UAW and regs and in fact for the car comps to make the profit they did then and be solvent shitty cars which is what they are nowadays with far less power and durability and class and engineering at that old level of manufacturing it would cost 80,000 dollars to buy a pos "cheap" model
heard hes gay.
