If US bombers hadn't destroyed German industrial capacity in Western Europe, the war would have lasted for more years until the bitter end for USSR.

Lend-lease saved Russia? Total lend lease was 7% of total soviet producing during the war not including materials and supplies USSR had before the war. In 93% USSR equiped it' army itself. These 7% was help, yes, but just help, no more. It wasn't even 7% of our victory, 7% would be if you would send to eastern front your full-equipped forces which would put together 7% of all forces on the eastern front.

i read on the net about Zaporozhian Cossacks. Turns out that from the start they were part of Polish-Lithuanian commonwealth but you did not exactly control them, eventually they broke away from you. Later on Cossacks joined with the Russians and their land were under the protection by the Tsar. Later on things went bad their too. :(

1. Wasn`t business. USA got nothing from USSR in return for tanks, planes, trains, other military supplies.
2. USA was on the fighting side. And it fought on two theaters: Japanese and Germany.
3. USAF bombers delivered great blow to German industry. German weapon production has been drastically decreasing after allied bombardments. That also means, less tanks and planes could be sent to fight USSR.
4. You suck.
5. Where did you get 7% figure? I really want to see your source.

1). It was business. Many of supplies were payed by gold and another natural resources, but, of course the vast majority of lend-lease wasn't paid.
2). I speak only about war in Europe. There USA weren't on the fighting side.
3). Great blow? The peak of german producing was in 1944(!) year. How could bombings be effective if they not only not destroyed german industry but even couldn't stop it's encreasing?

5). The first official estimate of the role of lend-lease was given by director of soviet State Plan ministry (ministry of economic) N.A. Vosnesenskyi in his book "Military economic of Soviet Union in Great Patriotic war". He said that lend-lease was 4% of all Soviet producing. But it seems that this number was understated cause of cold war. Nowadays russian historiografy count that lend-lease was between 4 - 10% to soviet producing. I just have took a middle number as position-finding date.

I LOL´d so hard, I nearly had my lungs ripping apart! If USA didn´t sent you lend-lease aid, every slav would now be freezing on the other side of Ural. Tanks, airplanes, trucks, artillery, supplies... All coming from the other side of the pond.

Lend-lease saved Russia? Total lend lease was 7% of total soviet producing during the war not including materials and supplies USSR had before the war. In 93% USSR equiped it' army itself. These 7% was help, yes, but just help, no more. It wasn't even 7% of our victory, 7% would be if you would send to eastern front your full-equipped forces which would put together 7% of all forces on the eastern front.

You even can't be considered as one of fighting sides cause you cowardly sat on your fat american ass behind the ocean and ate popcorn. There were just two fighting sides - Germany and USSR. All another help to one of the sides - just background support, may be decisive, but still background support.
Germany was crushed by ONLY USSR, America sucks.

We bombed Hamburg,Germany into a parking lot. Did the Soviet Union help? Hell no! They were too busy dying under Stalin's rule. Our leaders during WWII(F.D.R and Harry S. Germany fought on 3 fronts on the same continent, at the same time....yet they still managed to hold out for 3 years after Hitler declared war on the u.s

Peter I think was a hero. He built Russia's navy and expanded Russia's borders towards the Baltic sea and the Black sea to get trade routs with Europe. But all they thought you was Peter enslaved this, Peter destroyed that and so on. i read on the net about Zaporozhian Cossacks. Turns out that from the start they were part of Polish-Lithuanian commonwealth but you did not exactly control them, eventually they broke away from you. Cossak Registry was refused by the commonwealth and Cossacks made an uprising . The Deluge, familiar? Brought an end to Polish-Lithuanian commonwealth. Later on Cossacks joined with the Russians and their land were under the protection by the Tsar. Later on things went bad their too. :(

Deluge was war against Sweden, but all of it happend at the same time (i mean the Cossac Uprising), we lost 1/3 of our population at that time... but Lithuania (and Belaruss) lost half in the war against Muscovy/Russia. That was end of our power, not our state.
The word "control" doesn`t fit to that state at all, not only to the "Wild Fields". Some broke away, some stayed like Wyhowski, but then they allied to Turks and Tatars, or Swedes like Masepa.

I stand corrected. Eastern Europe is not an excuse. But if you compare 45 years of occupation in Eastern Europe to CENTURIES of what westerns (France Germany Britain, US) did to Asia and Africa (slave trade, occupation, explotation) then what Russians did is hardly a crime. Today western democracies accuse Russians of crimes and yet seem to forget they are no better. I am not saying Russians should be innocent now but its just you can't say Russians are the only bad ones.

Russian themselves fell victims to invasions and occupations for centuries, Poland was a common enemy not just to Russia but for Ukraine also.
Under Tsar Russians always conquered towards the Baltic sea and the Black sea for trade. And the Cossacs not only challenged Russia. Poland and Lithuania was their enemy as well.

Zaporiżżjan Cossacs or Ukrainians at all were allied to us many times, thier first Ataman was of Lithuanian descent, his grandfather becomed "Pole" and the big enemy of Cossacs... yet it was Peter I who destroyed Sich and ENSLAVED Cossacs, Catherine destroyed New Sich and finally whiped them out, soviets killed 10mio of them, how about that?

It depends when and which, Ukrainian (Zaporiżżjan) were, as i said, destroyed by Peter and Catherine. Russia didn`t respected Pereyaslav deal, then "Cossac Hetmanate" allied to Tatars and Turks (Hetman Doroshenko) and tryied to fight us... but Sobieski was invicible.
