We know the brown thing was a worm. But if the white thing was a feather, than why did it squeak?! Shouldn't it be the boot that does the squeaking? I always wondered that, way back when. Oh, the ever pondering, questioning mind of a child!
The Brown thing is a caterpillar( inch worm).... followed by a single shoe, a carrot, a feather(?). And Grover who went the wrong way before going the right way. And an orange that followed Grover with a picture frame around his neck. Oh, for the conclusion music(the base bassoon). I like that too. (It wasn't a tuba was it?)
When I was little, I loved this clip so much, that I would make my own reenactment of it using my toys. Somehow, I was just impressed watching Grover educating about ONE WAY, and all those different people, animals and inanimate objects going past him.
A few months ago, I kind of went one way the other way because I didn't noticed a one way sign. A police person was yelling at me that this was a one way street! So I hope that will never happen again.
On my God, I haven't seen this clip in ages! Yeah, poor old Grover, he takes a lot, but he dishes it out too! What was that brown thing inching across the wall? And what was up with that one shoe without a foot? Sesame Street was a little weird at times back in the day. I guess that's why some of us Generation Xers are a little twisted...;)
Guy Smiley gave Grover the evilest look.

I think the white thing was supposed to be a rabbit.

I mean, it was chasing the carrot and rabbits eat carrots.

I always thought the white thing was a butterfly that couldn't fly, but run.

Now Grover, you of all monsters should know what one way means. You can't go the oppisite way on a one way street.
