I cant figure it either! The light at the beginning plays a part. The Robots is carrying a sack on its chest, its most likely the same fruit! The fruit gets punctured but after the blood spills it looks like the blood retracts. Does the Light represent god? Does the cone shaped head represent a Nuclear missile? is the fruit a representation of man which has the means to reheal itself? Is the fruit on the robot a country that is using nukes on another country? Weird but cool. what do you think?

@Jedistarship I think your reading too much into everything. If we start meddling with every little artistic flourish the true nature of a piece gets lost. I think MsPsychicFreak is the closest. The thing it stabs is just an organic mass, the machine is just a machine. As for the design of the machine, it's not a nuclear missile. Its a robotic version of the band's mascot, no real deep meaning there. That's one of the beautiful things about this video, it's simplicity.
