@mashovie Same here, it was such a bad idea by the writers and tarnishes the Ross-Rachel storyline. There were so many moments in earlier seasons where Rachel obviously loved Joey as a friend but would never want to go out with him.

It's almost as bad as the flashbacks where they re-write the history of the show and make it worse for example Monica was going to sleep with Joey and not Chandler in London. That ruined the fact she slept with Chandler, who she always had a bond with.

@mashovie Yes true. I just thought of another thing I didnt like - Rachel and Chandler kissed at that party in the flashback episode, I hated that too.  in the first episode Rachel comes into the diner and greets Chandler like she doesnt know him.

Another terrible flashback is when Rachel turns up when the coffee shop used to be a bar and is like a completely different character and her and Monica barely act like they knew each other. Rubbish,

What I hated about that episode is when they revealed that Monica and Ross made out, which I think the writers didn't need to do at all, it was unnecessary and gross.
