LIsten to the first 2 minutes of CArolina then the verse of this! Also how does the first half of the song fit in with the second, Crazy Psych Guitar Solo halfway through then it turns into some Clean country Blues Ending with a chick singing who isnt even in the band? @MuteAndContinue To be fair Girls are the only new band ive heard in the past 4 or so years, who actually meaningfully use the guitar. Far too many bands either taking the neo-folk route or just strumming boring chords with some drum machine over it.

@Jakkc Although I don't entirely agree that they are the only good new band of the past four years, I do agree that most band struggle to make something interesting even when—as you say—they try much harder to seem original than Girls do. I guess that's what I particularly liked about their (first) Album, too. On the surface it could easily seem like derivative 60s pop, but if you listen closely it covers so many genres, but with such ease that it may not appear so at first sight.
