  • This is, by far, the BEST R160B Siemens Propulsion train video I've ever seen.

  • You guys are wrong. On these trains friction brakes do not kick in until 4mph. These trains use dynamic braking. One of those cars has a dead motor which results in fulltime friction braking.

  • this is the manhattan down Q train...

  • you can see a r68 on the far right coner by the sign color loooks like out of service or a shuttle... nice catch

  • @donutboy617 That's a laid up Franklin Avenue Shuttle train waiting for its next trip.

  • @donutboy617 shuttle train dude. check the map

  • When I took the Coney Island Bound N Train, that sound is like that.

  • woaa that sound when it was just leaving sounded phenomenal awesome video,

  • DAG!!!...Anymore preesure on these breaks, you'll shatter the whole train, lolsz...I like the Alstom train to cause it runs soft, but the Siemens is like the best one so far...it's got this incredible sound. Now if they can only put some on the A, C, and E (8th. Avenue) lines...

  • oh my god poor Q train! and at :57-1:05 the train sounds kind of wierd!(Inever rode on the R160B Q train just the R160A train. For some reason i can never catch1!

  • Damn poor train....T/O put too much pressure on the brakes and it sounds like the HVAC was off!

  • I can tell it was the brakes at the beginning, at the end it was just too much pressure. Atleast one of the first 5 cars needs new brakes.
