your not really helping the enviorment seeing how it takes power to charge the batteries. the power is coming from most likely a coal power plant. you would save energy and have less of a co2 inpact by just using an engine and it would sound better

@humantestdummy Dude, the power doesn't have to come from a coal-powered power plant. I'm sure you realise also that electric motors in cars can convert 90+ percent of the input energy into output energy, which is a tad better than the < 30% of an internal combustion engine.

I'm sure you realise also that CO2 isn't the only shit that comes out of an ICE exhaust.

contact your electric supplyer and see if they offer wind power or such? here in oklahoma you can switch to 100% windpower all my electric is windpower right now.

and now i could drive an electric plug in CO2 free. if they would just offer one

how about the mercury mariner plug in or a escape plug in.

Nice Job. Awesome Ride. For the guy that wants to know what happens when the batteries go bad, I have a battery plant near my house. I take any bad batteries back there and they recycle almost all of it. Plastic and lead.

Guys what does it take to build one as far as money? How green is it to carry around the waste dump to supply the power? Sure it helps the air but what happens to the batts when they stop charging? If everyone had an electric car would we have to have a battery dump?!!! How much more electricity would we have to produce to supply the need? Would that be any better at all? I like the no noise effect kinda but that would get old too. What happens when you wreck one? what does it cost to keep up?
