this was the coolest phone back when i got it in fall 05 for my first year of college, it was so ahead of its time ! i mean it could hold like 600 pictures lol like an hour of vid and i still had like 30 of my favorite songs on there . it was super sick back then, i miss it, i have a shitty sprint phone now. i still have my sony but i lost the charger for it and if i ever get at&t again i will still use my sony . oh and the battery could go like 3-4 days without charging ! that was the best

I first saw this phone when i was in school a few years back when my teacher had it..he got all his phones stolen alot though, Lmao!, but anyway. I just fell in love with the whole design of this phone and the speed at which applications open and can be navigated through, and the volume level and sound quality are just flawless..some people might say the speakers suck but actually they are perfect and all you have to do to keep the perfection of the songs is to have songs with a good bit rate :]

I love my W600!! I'm upgrading to W580i, because it's free...I'll keep my W600 as a backup.

Only complaint is that it only has 512MB internal memory to store songs...which is not a lot any more...with no external card slot. The 512MB is also lessened by the number of applications or other data, such as address book info.

I was never bothered by its size, love the lock button, and speaker power. The music does shut off when a call comes in, and battery life is amazing!

<3 i've dropped this phone onto the concrete pavement sooo many times, it's pretty banged up on the outside haha but it's so sturdy and reliable, it's like the swiss knife of cellphones. i love the screen colours, the the 1.3mp camera, the really really strong light, and the easy to navitage menu format. i love my phone no matter how sporty/orange/bulky it is.

you must flash the main firmware...some complicated, search in google "WSOD" or "white screen of death" there are many forums and many ways to do it. be careful is not the same "flash" than "unlock"

I have this phone and i found a way to have the songs from your computer on to this phone as use them as ringtones .... You can have any song you want as your ringtone... goto manage files and put the songs in a new folder then put the folder into the ringtone folder and you can use any song you want as ringtones...4 FREE when i did this i was like wow im sickkkk

the D-pad fades out after a while it sucks. i usually turn the phone 180* sideways then flip the screen with my thumb. its the fastest way i can flip it open without having to use my other hand. the camera does suck, it doesnt pick up anything in dim light even with the flashlight on. i only favor the 256mb memory and the loud sound. i cant even sell the phone anymore coz the price went down real low i swithched to z610i

Please save your self the white screen off death and constantly worrying on weather to download stuff to it because it might just not turn back on when disconnected from the usb cable. I loved the phone but it wasn't worth the trouble. I swear by my W810 now.
