Well, his defender didnt attempt to tackle him before he started the jump, even though he was CLEARLY in his range. Instead he just hunched over... i guess he was wating to armtackle him or something. EIther way that defender is horrible. Even if he didnt get hurdled ( HOLY SHIT ROFL.) he probably wouldve been juked or stiffarmed...or just plowed through. Oh god... what i would give to have video of me hurdling somebody in a football game with full pads...

Because you answered with coachknight you might be a coach. I guess that is par for the course, most coaches fail to recognize safety issues.

The rule involving hurdling of a player not on the ground is strictly a safety issue.

Not only to the player being hurdled but to the player doing the hurdling. There could be serious injuries that result from this type of play. It is illegal if you play NFHS rules. I hope you have more regard for the safety of your players. If not they could be losers.
