Oh please jay... skidboots was doing what came natural.... Obeying and pleasing his owner.... The owner practically saved this dogs life because he was a stray and nobody want him. How do I know this, they did a documentary on the dog and how the owner got skidboots

@jaydeecarr Watch the documentary on him on youtube... this is just a side act. They don't just practice for this, owner is a horse shoer and skidboot helps him around with his work. He was going to be given away due to mischievous behaviour but owner found intelligence in him and built a relationship. Just because some animals are forced into performing doesn't mean all are.

They said Skidboot got kicked in the head by a horse and it took him awhile to decline. It made him go blind in ONE eye, and it said one morning he just couldn't even hold his own head up, so they had to put him to sleep.

Is this the same guy and dog, that when they interviewed him, he explains how he taught his dog by doing what he wanted the dog to do. so he would crawl and do it and say the comands to show what the dog needed to do. I can't rmemeber hehe if not then this was awesome as well lol.

Skidboot is amazing. I actually saw him in real life, someone my mom knew had met his owner. We went to their ranch about an hour away. That must have been a couple of years ago, though. He was truly the most well behaved dog in the world.
