  • did he say titty thousand at 0:17 ?

  • Wow.. "Bronze age Manhattan" for Mohenjo Daro is a good expression !!

  • This video proves all South Asians from Pakistan to Sri Lanka are generally apart of the same race. The proof is the first Pakistani man 0:19 secs of the video can easily pass as a South Indian, Bengali, and North Indian.

  • Mention is made of Persian tribes that were defeated together with the major Indian alliances- such as those of the Yadus (Dravidians), Purus (Indo-Brachids, i.e. 'North Indians'), the Ikshvaku, etc. One such tribe that was defeated by King Sudas and driven to the west, presumably leaving India altogether after the drying up of the Sarasvati, were the Druhyu, same as the Druids of Celtic society. Celtic society itself bears strong resemblance of this lost link, with priestly, warrior classes.

  • This is one little detail in a sea of proof that is yet to be uncovered, there's a thousand other such details that clearly suggest early Indians migrated out of India first onto the plateau of Iran, thence onwards to Asia Minor and later Greece, moving into Europe proper, bringing civilization, the proto-IE language, and high culture with them, thus civilizing barbarian Europe. Consider for example the Battle of the Ten Kings ('Dasharajnya') mentioned in the Rg Veda.

  • Sanskrit Sapta-Sindhu, that is, land of the seven rivers, i.e. the Indus Valley. There is plenty of evidence on the other hand to support the theory that there was mass migration OUT of India when the Sarasvati dried up. Google, for instance, 'Gundestrup cauldron' and 'Pashupati IVC seal', and note the remarkable similarity between the two motifs. The former was found in northern Europe and is dated only to 200 BC or so, while the Indus seal is dated to over 4000 years ago.

  • Seems to me some of the people commenting on this video are utter idiots. There was no 'division' between 'dravidians' and 'aryans', the myth of such an invasion or migration having taken place has been busted long ago. There is zero archaeological evidence to support this. If anything, as Mr. Koenraad Elst points out, India is the only civilization to have retained a memory of Emigration OUT of India, while Iranians believe their homeland was in the land of the Hapta-Hendu.

  • is not an accurate documentary Sanskrit still a spoken language. the arian inversion is not documented in the vedas

  • I cant find part 6 of 7 of this documentary.. anyone?

  • Cool

  • The Indus Valley Civilization was an INDIAN HINDU civilization and has nothing to do with Islam. The people of this civilization had friendly relationship with the Central Asians. They are the ancestors of the present day Indians. No such thing as Dravidian and Aryan division.

  • @TheThamilArasan Actually there was division between Dravidian and Aryan. The Dravidian are considered as the native people who were living in South India and some parts of west India. The Aryans are people who came from central Asia. They are the one who started practising the Hinduism. And for your information Indus valley civilisation is not 'INDIAN HINDU civilization'. The Vedas didn't exist at that time. And the Hinduism itself is not a religion its a group of religions existed in India.

  • There is no proof of any invasion or division amongst Indians in any Indian book. There is no archeological proof to explain this either. Indians are 90% caucasoid meaning they have the same facial structures meaning they are all apart of the same race of people. Skin colour is not a matter in race, because skin colour can vary between people. It is only an adaptation from the sun. Exceptions in the North-East are mongoloid and exceptions throughout central/South India are Australoid.

  • @vishal149 the australoid tribes and mongoloid people of India are very few in numbers, North Or South Indian, everyone is caucasoid. Straight noses, straight/curly/wavy hair, small foreheads, small lips and hairy bodies. Skin colour only differs because of the hot climate in India. In the extreme North it actually snows. Indians are all a type of of "brown skin". The aryan gene "R1A1" was found in south indian tribals. Genetics have proven the Aryan invasion theory false.

  • @TheThamilArasan But don't forget that if there was an Aryan Invasion it happen a long time ago. And there are chance that Aryans might have breed with local Indian population(Dravidians) and that can be the reason why genetic tests fail for the Aryan Invasion theory. It is a fact that there was tribal people like Adivasis who lived in India before Aryans came from Central Asia.

  • @vishal149 That is incorrect. You should look up the Genographic Project which attempts to 'trace the human genetic journey', which proves beyond any doubt that most of these different peoples were already in India long before 15000 ybp (or 17000 BC). As I said, there were not two but FOUR ethnicities in India at the time of initial peopling: the Purus (your 'typical North Indian', such as someone from Bihar or U.P.), the Yadus (or Padavas- your typical 'South Indian', the so-called Dravidian)

  • @vishal149 the Indo-Semitic type (found among Panjabis and other such peoples), and finally the Austro-Asiatic component. It is this last category that were the 'adivasi' of continental India, comprised again of two types: the Australoid peoples that settled India before anyone else, along the coasts of peninsular India (look up Virumandi + Kallars + M130 marker), and the Asiatic type, who had distinctively recognizable Asiatic eyes (still found among many hill tribes of India)

  • @vishal149 Of these only the Purus and Yadus could be said to have peopled India extensively. There is evidence that suggests both these cultures lived together in the Indus Valley before moving east and south as the Sarasvati began to dry up. The Yadus or Dravidians were in all likelihood Sumerians, there is simply too much similarity between these two languages, cultures, and peoples (genetically the Sumerians were neither Indo-Iranian nor Semitic) to be dismissed as mere coincidence.

  • @vishal149 Final note: the Aryan bullshit theory was propagated by (and later even denounced) by European colonialists of the 19th century: I think it's a matter of great shame and a sign of the level that we as Indians have sunk to that a fellow Indian continues to believe 'the Aryans came from Central Asia'. Archaeologically, that there is a continuity between the Sarasvati civilization and the Ochre Coloured Pottery Culture was proof enough for even experts in the field.

  • @vishal149 the ONLY shred of 'evidence' that proponents of this theory hold onto is is essentially linguistic in character- that it is in the area of an Urheimat that we find the greatest diversity of language, such as exists in Europe in the case of PIE- and even this has been thoroughly refuted as nonsense for 90% of the spoken tongues in Europe are far more recent than Sanskrit or the many varieties of Prakrit.

  • @vishal149 There are many theories to explain the history of India. The Aryan Invasion theory was formulated by white British invaders determined to divide India, conquer and rule. British used this theory so that they can claim Indian history, medicine, inventions, and culture. Genetics have proven this theory false. Humans originated in Africa. South Asians from Pakistan to Sri Lanka are apart of the same race. “Indo-Aryan” is only a language group just like “Dravidian” is.

  • @TheThamilArasan TheThamilarasan is absolutely right in his assertions and I am glad at least some people know what they're talking about, still.

  • @Agnyaanamdhvamsakah Thank You, truth is Power.

  • What does the speaker mean by weakening strength of the monsoon, was the monsoon stronger 7,000 years ago? It seems a priori that the monsoon is a result of deforestation.

  • @highlytoxic Please. As an indian I ask you. Please stop hating for reasons like what you stated. One of our greatest strengths is our unity in diversity. Stop hating the Pakistanis. They are our brothers. the only reason they hate us is because that is all the media shows us and them and that is the kind of politics that seems to work with misinformed people. Religion is not the issue.

  • sanskrit cam frm outside for sure...

  • amazing !! makes me v home sick and proud!

  • @hemavenkataraman taj mahal is the pride of indian/mughal architecture :)

  • Fuck, the BBC is utter shit. 12 minutes plus of video and all it's expressed is that "Indians love monsoons" and that global warming (now 'climate change') is responsible for everything.

  • cant wait for more research on the underwater cities of the coasts of india, date back 20,000 yrs ago when the water was lower

  • Motherfuckers Pakis have taken over India's cultural & heritage property in Harappa..These mofo Arab wannabes don't even appreciate their Hindu past. Their Hindu ancestors must be crying up in heavens.

  • @highlytoxic Oh, puhlease. It's not like Hinduism has remained unchanged. Hinduism was very different in the ancient past. Besides, you guys use the Taj Mahal, commissioned by "mofo Arab wannabes" for a "mofo Arab wannabe" to sell your country to tourists. Why not pick some Mandir or something. A large part of what India is, including much of the Hindi language, can trace its roots to the Muslims.

  • @shanc1193 WELL SAID! : D

  • @highlytoxic you are soo jelous man . . .harrapa is 15 or 20 miles away from my house and i m the only one in my house who saw all these things there . . .i hv a family of 14 people oldest one is 102 . . . lol we dont like idols . . . lol

  • Exraordinary episode. People settled in cities, revert back to being Pastoral Nomads. at about 3:15 note Dr. Danjeev Gupta's work. Evidently what we have here is the "Mythological" River Sarasvati mentioned in the Rig Veda and elsewhere. Much food for thought...and the Vedic Aryans themselves? Language and Deities Rig Veda and Avesta basicly the same. Similarities Zoroastianism, Fire Cults etc... Still find Victor Sariandi's conclusions problematic- Super archaelogical find however.

  • great

  • gud

  • why cant american stop pigeon holing people as either black white latino, and allow people cast as this type to be individuals. for this reason we have a better society and multiculturalism in south africa, and to some respects india

  • @dragonfly8756 no its human behavior "class" always existed and will be in the future, might be in a different form. So it isn't the American its purely a human response. though i wish.. don't like America much ...XD personal opinion

  • @C21H23ClFNO2

As you have used the words "fucking whites", I would like to ask do you take the ownership and responsibility of whatever is done by the people of you race and color? for example if u are a black how would you react if someone classifies u as a relative of Idi Amin..If you are a christian, what if someone holds you responsible for the killing jews and Muslims..or see you as jap killing philippinos, indian killing muslims or muslims killing indians. You gotta come out of ur bubble.

  • Everybody has been occupied and please study,By the way stop following others if you do not know and You can read MIRCEA ELIADE he devoted his life to study religions and know to clarify,NOBODY SAYS YOGA IS NOT FROM INDIANS AND UPANISHADS ARE NOT FROM INDIA, THEY ARE SAYING ABOUT THE VEDAS THAT LIKE IT O NOT INVADERS O NOT MORE PEOPLE WHEN THE VEDAS WERE LIVING THAN BEFORE WHEN THE UPANISHADS.OF COURSE VEDAS ARE FROM INDIANS BUT THE ARYANS WERE LIVING IN INDIA,ARYANS ARE NOT FROM EUROPE,

I think you will say OHH yes we have understand yes AHHH! but you have to accomplish that and stop hating,It is funny because Indians and Muslims and hate occupation, which,

  • @C21H23ClFNO2

I respect your opinion but please understand that it doesn't matter what color you are, every culture evolves differently and yes, non-white civilizations are on average a lot older than white civilizations. But what does it say about such civilizations when upstart white nations can conquer them with such ease? Every shade of human has a defect to it, mainly because of the way other shades look at it.

  • those G'z shown at 8:40 are really rude bloody hell, i was told off when i took their foto - they thought i was from media, lucky my friend was their otherwise they wud hav eaten me alive. one threatened to slap me lmao

  • @samm3004

Ha ha. Come on. You guys are EXACTLY alike... that's not meant as a put down, just an observation.

  • @icaleod well at least i aint a redneck baptist

  • So many idiots on youtube seem to take anything as an excuse to babble on in an uninformed and biased fashion about religion, race, conspiracy theory or some equally annoying nationalistic sentiment. It never ceases to be a wonder the crap that people are willing to express in a public forum.

  • agreed. instead of raising educated questions and having an all inclusive attitude people here seem to have biased opinion and make uneducated remarks of "us v. them". it is really frustrating. i bed half the people here don't even have a college education or have at least read a book.

  • Bush had a college education but that doesn't make him less of a retard.

  • I realy like and is intresset in more of them plz post the rest of it..
