What sucks, is I wonder how many empires windup invading other countries for their RESOURCES, and wind up stuck there do to THAT..

What would happen if we left the middle east? How expensivewould our gas be?

Is there much ofa difference between that questionand the question that was probably posed in the 1800s of "What would happen to our economy if we freed the slaves?"

i wish lew could talk about victims of imperialism. what about the "liberty" of Native Americans and Africans? Isn't there something to be said about their rights, their liberties? I hear 30-60 million Native Americans were annihilated in the U.S. territory. Shouldn't that be part of the "liberty" discussion as well?
