@Gileum though if you hear the rapid "ting" sound, meaning that the Boss was invincible during the frames that the shot residue was on screen, though i wouldn't say Zero isn't without his cheapness, if you have the Shot eraser part you can actually destroy X's Plasma Shot, not to mention that if you don't get the dash clone attack you have access to the hyper slash which deals more damage than a Plasma shot per second since it doesn't activate a bosses invincibility frames

i understand how the shot works, and the invincibility frames that come with being a boss. I was just pointing out this this particular strategy with this particular armor is pretty cheap. The ultimate armor was pretty much made to make you win in nearly any circumstance, I'm sure zero has his own set of cheap strategies, ive seen the hyper slash kill a boss in under 10 seconds, but doing so here as you mentioned requires you to sacrifice other moves/weapons to do it. The Ultimate Armor doesnt.
