  • I'm ignorant in these things: is it possible to kill a wild boar with a single arrow bow? From what maximum distance, approssimatively? How time does it take to die?

  • @ol1sk Yes, you'd want to be close and using a high-powered bow with a solid broadhead though.

If you get a solid hit, they can be down in under a minute easily. I've seen a few fall over on the spot, but that's VERY rare.

If you're planning on hog hunting, I'd suggest going to a website / forums and have a look around / ask a few questions. The last thing you want to do is think you're good and go out with a 50lb bow and a shitty broadhead that doesn't even pass through their shoulder.

  • @WirlWind494 thanks! i don't mind to start bow hunting, i was just wondering how well it worked... you know, without hydrodinamic shock, and the other factors.... but, in the end, ages ago they already hunted boar with composed bows, but it was very difficulty and takes some luck, so i was wondering of how much the things are changed; it seems still hard and uncertain, to me...

  • @ol1sk Np, Compound bow's have come a long way from the old bows :) They're far more accurate, faster and penetrate further.

But pigs are still tough MF'ers, though. Make sure you're not -too- close and that you can get up a tree asap if he runs towards you though. If I had any tips for people, that would be it.

If your shot is slightly off from a gust / hunting nerves, you might hit gut or lungs and have a pissed off pig charging at you :P

You'll want to be a good shot for pigs ;)

  • @WirlWind494 yeah, i've been watching others videos in wich the wild pigs were charging the camera operators; in one of them the operator have been bited at one leg, resulting in a small cut;

how dangerous are they? Their attack style seems to be the bite, but do they also uses the tusks like spears?

And if you fall down, do they usually continue to attack or runs away, after a while?

  • @ol1sk Depends on how pissed off they are, but people have been very seriously injured by them before (but could potentially kill if unlucky) and they can be AMAZINGLY territorial / aggressive if provoked.

Treat them as you would a VERY angry large-sized dog that's in a yard you've never been in. If they come charging at you, get up a tree asap because they may come around for another pass.

  • Baiting an animal is NOT hunting. I noticed through out this video it shows that whoever is doing the hunting has baited the area with food. Where I come from, that is a lazy mans way to hunt and is actually illegal. Lazy pricks, fair chance my ass. How is it fair when you baited the dam thing in? Do what is right and actually HUNT. Look up the definition if you are that ignorant.

  • @MegaYapyapyap WRONG buddy. Broaden your horizons...baiting is legal in MANY areas...hunting laws vary from state to state...all the shots of baited animals are in areas where it is legal. The Native Americans, renowned for their hunting skills, baited animals. Baiting animals isn't a new thing...it increases the chances of you putting meat on your family's table.

  • @MegaYapyapyap If you look up the definition of "HUNT" you will notice that it says nothing about the method, only the act of the kill.

  • @OutdoorAdventures mega u sound just like the rich stuck up ppl n the city not every person can be like im hungry lets go out and buy dinner they just dont have the money they have to hunt to feed there family and grow there food and the reason it dont say anything about baiting if u look up hunt is cause baiting is a tactic just like a sniper n the war will hit 1 person not to kill them so there buddys come to help the sniper is baiting the enemy dumb ass

  • I have seen your other video on youtube, and it is very schocking, not one of them is an instent kill shot. Have you paid some amatuers to shoot for you. All of the shots are cruel stommach or leg shots. Any serius hunter hat to stop shooting if they shot like this.

  • @mn031158 What videos are you referring to? Do you know the anatomy of a deer? I have never seen Keith shoot an animal in the leg. TROLL

  • Why do people hunt?is just stupid..u dont need to kill for the food,so why, none of those animals deserved to die...Why @OutdoorAdventures ?

  • @TheMedinaPedro Actually, you DO need to kill for the food. Anything you buy in the Supermarket was once a living creature. It dishonors an animal when you support these factory farms that the Supermarkets use. Hunting gives dignity to the animal, and it allows them a fair chance to escape.

  • @TheMedinaPedro sorry pedro didn't see any deer meat down at walmart.

  • @OutdoorAdventures You had 4 kill shots consisting of a combined 10 seconds in a 2 minute video advertised as archery kill shots.

  • @CofC413 Count again...the title of this video is called "Archery Kill Shots w/ Lighted Arrow Nock"... The Video contains Archery Kill Shots w/ Lighted Arrow Nock...There was no pretense in the title advertising NON STOP kill shots.

  • what was the broadhead used in the crossbow shot?it was orange colored.

  • haha at :27 the all mighty weiner has a hard time drawing his bow haha thats all am wacthing as it an ad.

  • i have some and there awesome!!!

  • i hate watchin hunting videos and people on here talkin about quick clean kills. u cant have a quick painful kill in bowhunting its impossible. ive been huntin my whole life and i haven yet had a quick painless kill on a animal. quit being panzies and just shoot the fuckin animal. if u hit it in the spine and it is there still breathing shoot it again thats all i can say about that. i mean its hunting it aint gonna be painless. grow a pair of balls and just get out there and hunt.

  • HOLT EUCH EIN JEGDGEWEHR -.-

  • @OutdoorAdventures He acts like an over zealous wanker.....

  • However, some research indicates that components of neural circuits involved in empathy may also be dysfunctional in psychopathy.[48]

    [edit] Enjoyment of others' suffering

The same ability may underlie schadenfreude (taking pleasure in the pain of another entity) and sadism (being sexually gratified through the infliction of pain or humiliation on another person (and animals))

  • @Mercy4Wildlife The fundamental point you are totally missing is that products like this allow archers to fine-tune their shot placement so that a quick humane kill is ensured. Nobody hunts for the purpose of causing animals pain - in fact quite the opposite is true. No hunter wants their quarry to suffer. We want to honor the magnificent spirit of a game animal by harvesting it quickly and efficiently.

  • USING A CROSSBOW DOSENT GIVE YOU THE RIGHT TO CALL YOURSELF AN ARCHER!

  • @TheCyberguy101 I could use the logic and say the same thing

about compounds. If want to be a true archer go back to long bows and recurves.

  • @msthunt Oh, come on. Now you're just making things up.

  • that was just a god damn ad. nothing else

  • @MrFatboy361 So what? Looks like a good product.

  • too professional for his own good

  • @FusionNinjin too professional? What is that supposed to mean? You'd rather someone be unprofessional?
