@TheTarrMan I agree. I like that the 5-door is coming here, but that 4-door sedan version is just rubbish. I don't know why American drivers insist on ruining perfectly fine compact cars by forcing an external trunk onto them (see: Focus).
It's comming to the U.S. Finally a good European car for Ford that isn't "Americanized" (soft and fat). We will get the four door hatch and four door sedan. No two door. Only the 1.6 gas (petro) and a new six speed auto and five speed manual. Thinking of getting one, can't wait to test drive one.
Unlike most of these posters I actually have one of these cars. I've had Fiestas in the past too, including the mk1. It's really brilliant and drives sensationally. Just check the Top Gear review and be in no doubt, this is one cool little car.
My father, who is 72 years old, bought one of these a few months ago. He ordered the model with five doors and filled it with all the luxury you can get to this car. Recently I drove it from Stockholm to Copenhagen and it is an extremely pleasant car to drive. Must recommend this car. Five stars. Good work Ford!
By the way what's up with all the Fiesta bashing comments?? Usually i read extremely positive comments yet here it's mostly people nagging about insignificant stuff! Was this video linked to a Mazda fan forum or something?
winston036 it is up to personal taste. Most reviews recommended the Zetec-S/Sport cause they said it was the best version and most fun, with only 1-2 reviews agreeing with your opinion. In the end we all have a choice and best way to figure out which one is best is to test drive them. Personally i love the Zetec-S
My mum's getting one, I like it a lot. One negative though is the dash, it's too flashy, the new Focus interior is supremely better looking. Another negative is the cramped interior, e.g. the interior of the Suzuki Swift is more roomy. Still, it's very pretty and I believe it handles well, so all well that ends well.
cramped interior? are you joking? its huge! ive just bought one and i find it slightly odd that anyone can say that it is too small. Unless you are talking about sitting in the back? in which case i dont care if you are cramped.
I got this car running low nines on the quarter mile :D Got an engine swap though for the track.

I wish they made a hot-hatch version of that in the U.S.A. Or at the very least the two door version.

@TheTarrMan You aren't alone!
I don't want a lame sedan or a 5-door hatch, Ford! 3 doors, or no sale!
I want the metallic blue 3-door, in Zetec S trim, if not ST/RS trim.
Now all of us want a heavy-ass Mustang.

the zetec s suspension is crap. You can feel every bump in the roan unlike normal lowered cars. Perhaps maby if it was only 20mm insteada 30???

Needs more practicality with back seat arrangement, but I'd still be tempted...by a Mazda 2.
