I love your tone and control at such a high register! I have been playing Bb clarinet for about 7 years, and just recently took up the Eb in my high school wind ensemble. It's a school instrument and I need to get a better mouthpiece that will help with sound and such. What type would you reccomend for good clarity of sound? Thanks!

Really nice audition. Can you tell me what fingering you use for a high G? No matter what I try on mine (Buffet E11) it's always REALLY flat and I can't seem to lip it up.

PS - does your clarinet not have a F# alternate key? i see you switching from F to F# with 1 to 2 with your right hand at 2:22

@MusicWonderz Hi. Thanks for your comments. The position for high G depends on the instrument you have. With my Eb one (Noblet) I have a couple of positions that I play depending on the passage. Normally the position that I would do for the Bb one.

Yes, F# is possible to articulate. I prefer this sound in some cases without articulate it.

but sadly in our band there is no position for Eb clarinet =(

@animeluver4evah Hey, thanks mate for the nice words you wrote above. To be honest, this Eb clarinet is an excellent instrument to treat it like a violin or piccolo as the flexibility and register this allows.

I encorage you to carry on with your Bb and if you can of course with an Eb clarinet.

@elcristoatao La obra de Richard Strauss es "Till Eulenspiegel". En concreto del número 30 al 32 de ensayo y del 40 hasta 13 compases después. La verdad es que es una obra muy recomendable para escucharla con orquesta completa si tienes la ocasión. Un abrazo.
