2) yes, green houses are warmer, but no, green houses don't have more CO2.

1) the ocean doesn't release CO2, it stores CO2, and balances out with the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere. the ocean acts as a buffer.
2) yes, green houses are warmer, but no, green houses don't have more CO2.
face it: the world consumes (and mostly burns) about 85 million barrels of oil each day: that's a lot of CO2

Besides, if you take a look at a graph of CO2 concentrations over the last decades, and check that against the dates of the most important volcanic eruptions (e.g. 1991), you will see no noticeable increase in the trend.

unfortunately that's not how science works. You can't single out a few morons in a team and say "see, your all wrong now." most of the emails were pretty normal. If the climate is not changing, why are glaciers smaller, why does winter get worse and worse every year where I am? Why did india miss its monsoon for the first time in hundreds of years? People just can't accept that science isn't perfect, they want absolute answers, and we're not there yet.

Yeah I looked at ice tables as an assignment in Geography last year. After looking at the oxygen vs carbon concentrations in the ice, it is clear that periods of melting drove CO2 levels higher, ie) temperature drives CO2, not the other way around. It is a tremendous scam.

I wrote an article over 2 years ago on what would be needed to make the real changes on our planet to combat pollution and how it could be done. Even then I was against CAP and Trade because I knew it would not stop the corporate polluting nor would a stock market derivative on carbon solve the pollution problem; Because ultimately that is what we are talking about when looking at the bigger picture...Pollution, and the lack of a complete regulated recycle system. Global warming is BS!

I have come to realize that we must change more than our actions. We must also change the complete program of economics if our species is to progress

I hate that I keep having to tell people this, but the emails don't disprove Climate change. They may show some bad behavior, maybe (not proven yet) unethical and fraudulent, but not disprove. You see even without all the data from CRU (not just the emails) there is still a vast amount of evidence proving Climate Change. Enough to say it is not theory but fact! The little different details of Climate Change are theories being discussed & debated, but if you disbelieve you just wrong.

illyounotme I wish I could agree with you but it is simply not true. the data shows that CO2 levels rise AFTER earth has warmed due to activuty of the sun and has dropped when the earth has cooled like in the last 4 years and in the period before the 80s. thats what the data shows and thats what East Anglia 'scientists' were manipulating to hide. Labeling CO2 as a toxin is absurd and its only purpose is to pick a substance which affects everyone so that a tax can be tied to it.

The last two years have been effected by La Nina, & even has started some scientist wondering what effect Climate Change has been having on these natural events. What the CRU emails shows is data from paleoclimate studies. So a very limited scope of data in the entire Climate Change data.
