Failed miserably to train my young Bengal to use the kwitter litter. I gave up after finding hidden poop everywhere else but the toilet. Your Bengal makes it look so easy.
how did the toilet fush? Is you bengal a foundation bengal or a SBT.. just curious...we are going to try to toilet train our bengal, she's a later generation SBT

That is great! I wish I could get my cat to do it but he is 18, so won't tick him off with new tricks lol. but wow. Saves messy litter problems for sure!
The green thing is a 'LitterKwitter' and is meant to teach the cat to use the toilet. Green is the last phase, this was just before he started using it without any aids.
Oh yeh, you can get this at pets at home or most pet shops. It's like £20/30 to teach your cat to use the toilet. Comes with all the inserts as well. I'd be a bit weirded out I think. I don't really think I would want to have my cat using my toilet. Personal preferrance but I understand that it is a lot more hygeinic, and cheaper on everything else. Other than that, could just get its injections done and have him shit and piss outside. Don't even have to spend £30 in the process. Job done.
I keep seeing Bengal cats doing these amazing things. Are they known to be more intelligent than other breeds?
They look rather exotic. I'm guessing that they haven't been bred as much as most domestic cats, or that they originated from a different ancestor. Less breeding, more smarts? Help me!
it is a siamese cat *usually, can be bred with ocicat or standard housecats * crossbred with an asian leopard, hence they're exotic markings. They where the result of a breeding experiment, the asian leopard is disease resistant, so they where trying to breed a housecat with the same characteristics. They are very clever, but you need lots of time with them, they can get into lots of trouble is left alone. they're also vocal, which i like. hope this helped!
I have two bengal cats. They're really smart. They are closer to their wild ancestors than most domesticated cats. The bengal breed has only been around for around 30 years or so.

How did you teach your cat to do this? And the green part is that just an insert you purchased to put in the toilet?
Does the toilet have an automatic flushing mechanism?
MissRuthless 2 years ago
Do you not see how big that cat is? There's now way it would get flushed down. Not to mention Bengals are extremely agile. A slip is highly unlikely.

Your cat can also be trained to work the lever as part of their instinct of pawing after using the box/toilet

Okay...I think it's REALLY great when cats get run over by cars; it helps the environment and we can all agree that is positive :)

It looks like that the cat was trained with the cat toilet training system: Litter Kwitter. Why not google it, and see the video instructions.
