  • My cat tore apart the mouse and the little stick thingy that the mouse sits on but she plays with the little ball that goes around.

  • My Devon loves the same toy. They are so great!

  • By the way, I just order the same toy as on your video for Raoul, I hope he will enjoy it ;)

  • I'm gonna buy the same for Raoul, I hope he will enjoy it ;)) And you, why did you choose that breed rather than an other one ?

  • Raoul, the monkey cat, would love this toy! :) I chose the Devon Rex breed because they they have really short hair and don't shed much. I almost got a sphynx!!

  • Did you know that the Devon Rex and the Sphynx has been coupled for hybridisation ? To increase the... rhaaa... how do you say that in english... the genetic pool ?... is that correct ?

  • no, I didn't know that! Does it have hair? Is it considered a new breed? Diversify the gene pool.

  • To diversify the gene pool, that how we say :) Thanks, dear Coach ! ;)) Yes, some has hair, but the breeders only keep the naked ones for reproduction. Raoul is the result of a consanguinity, an experiment to show up his parents' qualities, that's why he's castrated.

  • Aww, pauvre chat castré! (is that correct?)

Actually, from the way you describe it, they are probably trying to 'enhance' the sphynx gene pool to include some personality or physical traits of the Devon Rex, except the hair. Sounds neat!

  • No, it's not considered as a new breed. I don't know much... =/
