Your driving the kart too hard and going into the corners way too fast. I race karts at Sugar River Raceway in Brodhead Wisconsin. It took me a while to learn that foot to the floor isn't always the fastest way around the track.

First time there last night. 29.175 (FTD) in the 6.5'ers.  Made the 9hp guy 29.3xx mad. :)

I never have touch the brake at this particular track. It's all about setting yourself up for the next turn. My best run was 29.9 on the 6.5 Hp Karts. I think the new 9hp karts are down into the mid 28's now.
