And also, I don't have health insurance so I can't see a Neurologist, so when people ask what's wrong with me, I just say "Iunnoh." So if I can't see a Neurologist, that means I'm perfectly fine, right? >_>
I have eye tics, throat tightening, scrunching my eyebrows down while bobbing my head slightly, grumbling, finger squeezing, forced "chills" and constantly having to move my toes into a "Ball shape" if that's how you say. I've had these and TONS of others since I was 9, So I picked up smoking cigarettes 4 years ago and It helps ease the tics for short periods.
I don't know if I have Tourettes but, I've had various facial tics like Eye, Mouth and Eyebrow and finger tics I've done since 1st grade, people think I'm smiling when they're being serious or when my eyes roll up a bit and my eyebrows lower they think I'm pissed when I'm NOT. And I have to explain everything so I'm not insulting them. I also sometimes make "Kingler" noises (From pokemon) and I also tighten my throat throughout the day. Someone please tell me it's NOT TS.
It's good that peaople get to know tourett so they are not surprised so much, by the way it is at least a relief when it is on vocal nature rather than hitting someone or something, or suddenly jumping. In situations like in a car this would be really dangerous
i used to have tics when i was young, both vocal and motor. each tic i had only lasted about a week and didnt occur very often. they were not uncontrollable but as he says, i felt the need to let them out. i dont hav any tics anymore, i just stopped having them and now im begginning to wonder if i had a very very mild form of tourettes...
I'm not for sure but I think a kid in my class had tourrets because he would bang on things and I'm in 7th grade and when we had a sub albert (the kid) would just say random things. Also he would like jump from desk to desk. The other kids would tell him to shut up because some of them don't know what tourrets are. Also though its like albert has more then just ticks but idk.
I have very minor ticks. I flex my elbows, like flinching. You can't tell unless you really pay attention. I also move my head in like another flinching way. It's a little more noticeable, but I don't do that much.
@Toops144 Yes, it is usually a hereditary thing. Most people who have tourettes have had someone in their family who had/has tourettes more often than not. Although theirs could be more/less severe and much different than what tics they had. If that made any sense.
very well done, i also have tourettes, mine is expressed as 'mild' but i do crack my neck, jerk my head side to side, stretch the skin between the joint on my arm, blink, and make weird facial expressions. i have some videos on tourettes, if yur interested.
I am glad you enjoyed it. I am a school psychology grad student and am hoping to get as much information out there as possible so people understand what others go through. I hope this helps.

At least he's good looking. I know, I'm shallow...but I have found that many people with tourette's are actually very beautiful or handsome. :)
