FAIL!!! You ran off the end of the runway. This is actually quite easy to do.  Frist of all land from the other direction, where most have to land. Second, you probably set the wind about 120 mph in your face. Third, I hope you brought some JATOs to take off again.

@stealhty1 This is a simulation! In a computer you can try to land or takeoff wherever you want. However, rules can be broken! Take a look in this vídeo... /watch?v=Ai8KY4pxxgw. A boeing 747 landed in runway so short that it'll never be able to takeoff.

A BN-2A Mk III Trislander tried a short approach on to 28 in the late 80's. It hit the end of the runway (the runway sticks up about 2' above the beach) and tore off the main landing gear. See how the end of the runway looks in my Landing St Barth Part 1 video.

I know a guy who is a fireman serving St. Barth's airport and he confirms that you do, indeed, need a special licence to land there, even for small planes. Consider that the prevailing wind means you almost always have to land from the other side, dropping down over the ridge onto the runway. Not for your average pilot.
