saw the girls tonight at the cluny in Newcastle and they were outstanding. Their harmonies are incredible. We were comparing them with a female Mumford & Sons (I hope you take that as a compliment). Loved Mexico, Facing West and Winter Trees. Well done girls, you were brilliant!

I saw these gals last night in St. Louis with the Civil Wars. The best thing about The Staves is that they don't even know how talented they are. They were charming and courteous, truly genuine onstage. All of their vocalizations were spot on live. They could have recorded their entire set last night and sold it with little to no tweaking. Cheers to a fresh sound and refreshing talent!
