  • On this remix 9th kept the same drum pattern as the original down to the letter. This was actually the 1st remix he did. The other remix was done after this one.

  • Give Me Your Love - Curtis Mayfield

  • I need some feedback on this

The beat from 0:43-0:45 as Jay raps " I'll let it sing you a song, I"ll let it hum to you, the other one sing along"--sings almost that daaannaaa high pitch.... I think it's genius!!! It creates a sense of disconnect from the beat, as j paints a beautiful picture of death by describing gun play, then only to hit the beat again with " Now it's a deut" as the beat returns...That's crazy detail, amazing production 9th!

  • Jin - ABC

  • This is fucked. The real one was just the most badass song in the world and this one's like a fucking lullaby

  • The chorus is Gimme Your Love by Curtis. PR sampled it for Pimp Strut off the Surviving Elements.

  • hahah killin off the orig

  • Comment removed

  • love that last verse

  • my goodness, this is such an insane remix!! 9th murdered as usual!

  • this remix is bananas....9th wonder is the truth!!!!!

  • Lyrics are to HARD for this beat man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Better listen to Biggie Smalls feat Modeselektor - Tetrispack

  • Your song sucks.

You're hating on this remix while yours is probably one of the worst remixes i've ever heard.

  • Finally - someone posted this version! Illest beat ever.

  • this is mos def the better 9th remix, so jazzy so smooth, so cool, so jay z, so 9th soul like jaydee

  • @rovingstarone I agree 100%.

  • This is the shit!

  • /watch?v=7rcqhVBvp1Y big tune!

  • 9th is the best. He really elaborated on the riginal Bass line. Draped all the flowers on this one.

  • 9th is just nasty

  • the beginning has the same thing from the oldddd ass eminem song open mic.

"who the fuck passed you the mic, and said that you could flow..."

    sick track

  • @turnbugu Yeah it's Curtis Mayfield.

  • damn this is bad! 9th Wonder is pure fiyah!

  • this a luther vandross sample

  • nah it's curtis mayfield

  • There really is no end to 9th's genius

  • I know just when I think I've found all of his hot shit, some new shit turns up.

  • 9th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • nice chop!

  • 9th is tha motherfuckin beeeeeeest producin nigga ever plus pete rock and dj premier. fuck dre, fuck alchemist

    peaze and greetings outta germany

  • stupid dumbass comment...

9th is the truth but fuck dre and alchemist...??

do you even listen to the music?

  • i know man...i like 9th too, but how can you deny Dre and Alchemist? damn...thats too much dick riding right there lol.

  • i like dre a lot n alc but i think 9th is a better producer, im not sure who said what to make u angry tho....pzzzz

  • keep ya shit ass comments in germany... listen to Exile, Khrysis, Kev Brown, Nicolay.... cant beleive u said fuck dre and Alchemist... Stop listenin to hip hop.... u fuckin dumass

  • 9th wonder is my favorite producer....

but without dre ,alchemist, etc the music industry would be very boring. so that was a fucked up comment

  • Dre and the alchemist suck...THEY are boring, not to mention dre isn't even that talented. There are a lot of better producers like Nujabes, Lems, Uyama Hiroto, Khrysis, Large pro, Premier, Statik Selektah, Pete rock.....the list goes on and on

  • @mrmaoam Alchemist is the shit you're buggin! But great list! Also, this remix has the same drum programming as the original Threat, but not the other Luther sample Threat remix.

  • 1 of 9ths dopest beats

  • so is it just this song and the original threats from the black album, that were entirely produced and mixed by 9th?... all the others were 9th beats but mixed by others... am i correct on this? thx in advance

  • the sample is curtis mayfield and the impressions "give me your love"

  • dis threats, that's right, dis the threats, pimp

    and I'm SERIOUS about mine

  • I don't understand what you're talking about. Form a complete sentence with a complete thought.

  • thats the intro...pay attention.

  • 9th on point...easily the best version

  • its called threat 2 off of black is back 9th edition

  • damn this beat is just so chill man

  • the original is sickkkk...

    this is ok

  • IDK why people have given this comment thumbs down lmfao, 9th made this remix and the original so its not like hes dissin him for fucks sake, hes just giving his opinion on this beat in comparison to 9ths original. in my opinion i like all 3 the same, their all fuckin dope and besides pete rock an premo, aint no one fuckin with 9th!!

  • just doesnt do it like tha original. it cool but it just doesnt bring tha same feelin when u hear it

  • very true

  • brings a whole new vibe to the song. im lovin it.

  • the original is just so dirty.... n thsis an average beat

  • just brings a diff vibe....

9th made like 3-4 versions. There is one that I actually prefer over the album version

  • this track is f***in heavy!

  • speechless.. wow

  • If anyone hasnt noticed, the bassline of this song mimics the origional threat melody

  • YEAH....

  • that remix is different class

  • 9th Wonder did his thing with this album

  • Pete Rock used that sample aswell, and I don't know who produced it on Eminems Infinite but it was on there too, on the "Tonite" track

  • the song on eminem's album was called "Open Mic"

  • Oh lol sorry. But Pete Rock used it on "(Pimp) Strut" off the "Surviving Elements" album. Now that you cannot object to :D

  • That sample was on Kane's song Git Busy also on Prince of Darkness, "watch him turn the mic to minced meat"

  • @Fabio718 by this cat named Kon Artist i think

  • it is fantasic...

  • crazy

  • original is better, mood doesn't match the lyrics

  • i agree, the beat in this one is good but it doesn't go with the song. the original beat is much more haunting and THREATening....this one seems too happy

  • the beat is from czar nok's "that one way" album.

its not produced by 9th wonder at all.

  • yes, it is entirely produced by 9th wonder. if u listened to this entire song you'd realize that the beat that czar nok used isnt the same... just the chorus is similar. its cuz its a sampled from curtis mayfield. it's no secret

  • That's right. And the song he sampled came off the Superfly Soundtrack and its called "Gimmie Your Love."

  • Genious!

  • conceeded
