  • rather boring since those fish dont seem to fight.. Maybe it's just me, iunno.

  • What Lake is this mate?

  • Do you guys fish with barbed hooks. Because I'm going to visit a venue here in the Netherlands where barbed hooks are forbidden do the fish still stay on easily or not?

  • @NLcarpfisher

In principe doen de tegenwoordige weerhaakloze haken, niet onder voor haken met weerhaak. Als je beetje slim nadenkt met goede krimpkous/line aligner en het type haak. Dan moet het prima lukken.

  • Such a different attitude towards carp in other counties. for me in the US I'm thinking thats a lot of catfish bait when I catch a carp that size.

  • Going to miss the summer fishing...BRING ON WINTER!

  • nice fish but where venue 4 fishing and what pop ups 2 recommend 4 winter cornwall

  • a very very very good video from an angler that knows his lake well by the looks of it...

beautifull venue, awesum fish, brilliant battle,

    well edited as well

    A+++

  • @carpmolester Thanks for the positive feedback - we like your comments. Regards, FSF

  • what video editor/software do you use please reply!?

  • @lwmr1 Final Cut Pro - Hope this helps - Regards, FSF

  • nice fish watch my video to

  • WTF !!! Is He Trying Too lose The Carp :S One Min The Rods High The Next Its Low Wtf :s NODDDYYYYYYYYYY

  • @WHLoM1K3Y You hold the rod lower to keep the fish from running into snags and weed. Looks dumb, but it works very well.

  • @WHLoM1K3Y stop pretending you know what youre talking about..

  • @WHLoM1K3Y dude, you sound like a fucking idiot. Having the rod low puts more pressure on the fish to stop it running into areas that could cause potential problems. Learn what you're on about before accusing others...

  • @WHLoM1K3Y you have not got a fucking clue you nob

  • @666767 Can't this cunt land his own fish ? What a fucking filthy sodomite.

  • spot on nice water

  • spot on

  • love the look of the water

  • man thats a shit load of bait! i cant stand the kill policy as carp taste quite bad! glad to hear you look after them. i personally love carp. tight lines mate.

  • @bumpyjason It is a lot of bait but Im guessing there are sometimes 200 to 300 fish in the shoals and with average weights of shoal fish between 15 to 20lb they go through some gear really quick, they soon move on if no more bait goes in.

Yeh I wont even give my fish up to Asians who want to eat them, just the brit thing catch and release,I have nothing against eating what you catch but your not having my fish, lol.

Roll on July, the carp should be done spawning and back in the lake,

    Cheers!

  • btw i talk to nick on facebook now and then and hes a top guy and angler, just dont agree with his bold statements sometimes but he has some really interesting ideas on carp fishing ie introducing features such as branches which is genious, and fishing just off the hot spots etc.

  • Probably the best carp series on Youtube, nice one!

  • best hook in the world for you nick maybe?

  • @bumpyjason I have to agree with him,not many lost fish with these and wide gape x

  • @northernlight40 if thats what you use then thats what you use! i use longshank hooks and never drop fish but i wont say they are the best! i used to use wide gapes all the time! the rigs i use with short braid and critically balanced baits need a longshank. i catch a lot more now.

  • @bumpyjason Right on its just a personal preference and suject to change,I fish in Canada on 140 square mile of open water but its a bit rocky in places and we dont need no where near the precision you guys need, legally we can only use one rod and there are times when thats all you can get out.

last year I had a session where I had just landed a 25 and another one took a run while I was setting the rod on the pod,and the other sneaky rod went as well I had 2 mid 20,s to contend with.

  • @northernlight40 wow i would not know where to begin on a lake like that! always wanted to fish the st lawrence river also. im glad you guys are real anglers and not stoneage bow fisherman. im guessing your fishing in very deep water? if i was gonna even attempt that lake, id probably use the chod which as you know needs a wide gape which i use now and then. is it expensive to fish out there? free? we have to pay like £20-30 for 24 hours, some places are £500 annual membership here its a joke.

  • @bumpyjason it is free, just the licence but thats what gets me,we can only use 1 rod but its ok to kill as many carp as you like.

Because its so big you have to do a bit of home work and obviously bait up to keep the fish coming back.

we have put upto 40 gallons of corn in a 40 yard strip and that will only last 3 maybe 4 days.

Its getting more popular over here thanks to some ex pats and we even have somewhere to buy good gear now.

  • Sick Video (Y) Its videos like this that get me through the winter :)

  • so jalous about the reels and baitdetectors they are so awesome!!! you guy's have awesome vid's! very cool grtz

  • The lake is called Etang de Pierre. It can be booked through Dream Fishing Holidays.

  • @freespiritfishing whats the best hook a size 8 what ? is it barbed or barbless ? nice vid

  • @Amnez1aHD Size 6 or 8 are good for this size carp. Barbed are probably better if they are allowed. Hope this helps - regards, FSF

  • were is this ? what lake?

  • were is this? England?

  • great video mate.

    tight lines
