  • You looking for a Cherokee sister?I'm right here!!!!

  • Annie seems like a fake indian. I reported her to youtube and so did my friends.

  • From Annie ::WHITE BOY WHITE BOY WHITE BOY...you must be the part that says they are Cherokee and Jewish????? YEs::

hahaha hillarious .... still proving how dumb you are hahahaha I think I have made it quite clear, I am not cherokee, so move along, oh and that website you mentioned, that is the UKB's john Cornstalk's site.

  • How about you look at my name hahaha how about you look at my youtube channel. hahaha your talking about after 1830 hahahaha you just proved you do not know shit about your own history hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha I'm not cherokee hahahaha I'm not part of the most hated native american group. Even the UKB hates the CNO hahahaha

Your in way over your head here little white girl.

This from Monasukepanough from my inbox..I don't lie...

  • @AnnieOaklie63 Yup thats right, same thing I stated in here already, hahahaha Now go play your new age plastic indian games somewhere else.

  • @Monasukapanough you need to learn some respect..I can see you're probably a pubescent child, with nothing better to do, but harass Natives..go play with your little army men...

  • Please dont believe this menopause dude because he mixes your private inbox comments with what he wants to put out there..I don't know what his problem is, he must be a WHITE BOY KKK or something..but, OMG, dude, get a life!!! FOE REALS

  • @AnnieOaklie63 We ran the KKK out of robeson county, so try something more believeable next time. Oh and looks like your white wigger side just came out "foe reals". Malibu's most wanted in white girl style. Let me guess, you have little wayne cd's laying around in your bedroom also hahaha

  • @Monasukapanough No, i hit the wrong key for reallllllzzzzzz...idiot...who's little wayne??? I have no clue who that is but obviously you do..hmmm, "WE" ran the KKK ouf of robeson county...who is we..you hide behind words..come out with it..be a MAN, little man.

  • @AnnieOaklie63 hahaha your so hillarious, seeing as I have videos on my youtube of who my family is and what tribes I come from. Oh yeah...also I have my tribe name as....my youtube name. Yeah I'm the one hiding hahahaha I hide so much that I put my tribe name as my youtube name and have videos of my family and other tribes on my youtube channel...yeah try harder next time white girl.

  • cant answer that one can ya monasukapanough...what kind of indian language is that???? OMG, let me get with the CNO and the UKB and call forth the chiefs and lets see..hmmmm, think I don't have the power..Don't kid yourself kid..I'm right here in the middle of the UKB..so uh what's your next stupid remark gonna be????? an opinion is like an ass, everyone has one and your YOUTUBES!!! :D

  • @AnnieOaklie63 How about you google it, every time you ask about it just shows how dumb you are and shows how you have no schooling in the native history to even step into a debate like this with me. Maybe you should look at the oldest map of virginia and then come back lol Oh go get Bill clinton also hahaha he is enrolled in the UKB also hahahaha

  • Annie Oakley, aka White woman pretending to be indian. Explaine why the only videos you have fav's is bands like guns and roses, lady gaga, u2, toad the wet sproket, blah blah blah. Yet you in m try to say your more educated than me, yet my youtube channel is ful of nothing but actual historical records on our native people. Annie, your indian name is, white woman who thinks she indian. Or as us Eastern native american ancestors like to call you...white swan. lol

  • @Monasukapanough BECAUSE I LIKE MUSIC IDIOT...so what's your point..I read history books, not go to youtube for a history lesson..OMG keep it up...are you UKB???? ARE YOU!!!!!!!!

  • @AnnieOaklie63 You have not read history books hahah you proved that, I done told you i'm not Cherokee, I'm not part of racist genocidal hate groups which wish to destroy native american people and hide behind casinos. John Cornstalk even stated the CNO is boogus and racist.

  • @AnnieOaklie63 slander you hahahahaha That there again shows you have no knowledge of your own tribe hahahahaha john cornstalk of the UKB has a entire website dedicated to proving how boogus and racist the CNO is hahaha Let's not mention how the CNO on their own website has a whole section dedicated to slandering every single non federal native american in the USA.

  • @Monasukapanough did you know you spell full with 2 l's..duh ROTFLMAO..you're so stupid..yes, you are a kid, you are home schooled, or a drop out with no gifts other than running your mouth...keep it up..

  • @AnnieOaklie63 hahaha keep making yourself look more stupid just like all other CNO do. See I actually have college degrees, I'm actually known among the eastern native communties, unlike you. However...you say I'm a high school drop out etc....which would make your own self look more stupid because I've already handed you your ass in this debate lol

  • @AnnieOaklie63 see you hide behind things, you can't answer a direct question..WOW..maybe because you DONT KNOW..and Mr Cornstalk..well, let me just get off here and walk down the road and have a talk with him about this of what you say the CNO is doing to the UKB...I'm sure he'd love to see this transcript that's been printing out since you started your so called debate..if this is a debate, then you'd make a fine ass ;)

  • @AnnieOaklie63 you claim your cherokee and now your saying you do not know what roberson county is hahahaha. your so hillarious hahahaha Quite funny seeing as the federal cherokee always boycotts the native americans of roberson county, and is trying to get sole rights to the casino industry to keep them from getting a casino, and oh yeah they are the 9th largest tribe in the USA.

  • It is quite funny how you love to call other native american's white.. yet your own words of your background is "where an English man took one of our women to be his "wife"...and there it begins..then the Irish, Scotch/Irish, German" There is a very good reason the CNO is called the "white" tribe. And is also quite interesting hearing you calling other native people "white" when you have a name called annie oakley while my name is monasukapanough.

  • Comment removed

  • @AnnieOaklie63 A fake indian name ahahahahahaha You are just making your self look more dumb by the minute hahahaha You have no knowledge of eastern native american history or culture or heritage and you just proved it with that statement. Go spread you genocidal hate somewhere else, because people are not falling for your crap here.

  • @Monasukapanough YOUR ARE INSANE IN THE MEMBRANE!!!! go listen to some music, get off my stream, get off youtube, get off somewhere's else, because it seems you like to get off on pissing ppl off! and making genocide comments about my ppl. KMA MF

  • @AnnieOaklie63 Your people...is the ones going around harassing all other native american people, so don't try to play dumb. and by the way the CNO does not require a blood amount, you can be 1/2000th indian and still get a federal card with the CNO, I know for a fact your not with the UKB because the UKB requires 1/4th blood and you already admited your not 1/4th. hahahaha So move along white lady.

  • Here is annie's comment :I see with all your videos and propaganda you have many followers. ROTFLMAO...we don't care to hear you white racist bullshit..WE WERE HERE FIRST!!!::

Wow annie you just proved what I had been saying, you federal cherokee is nothing but racist genocidal machines that spew nothing but hate against all other native americans. You just proved what I stated in my other comments here lol

  • @Monasukapanough dude if i would post the private emails you've sent me, ppl would know you are the genocidal maniac...You're a trip!!!! Go play some where!!! No here....I will stand up for my PEOPLE ALL DAY LONG. and what else I have to say to you wouldn't be nice. So, I just won't at all. PS, why don't you put the whole email in the post area next time..I.D.I.O.T!

  • @AnnieOaklie63 Hey i'm not the one with a white girl's name, I'm not the one with bands like guns and roses and u2 and lady gaga. I'm not the one going around saying they are a white girl either hahaha thats all on you. hahhaahaha I'm not the one trying to run to private messages either.

  • @Monasukapanough this was not a comment, it was in a private message you sent me, why don't you copy and paste your own shit with it. ?????

  • @AnnieOaklie63 I'm saying the same stuff right here in public hahahaha Because unlike you I don't hide my stuff. It is quite funny how quick you have tried to avoid the questions hahahaha Keep trying white lady, your crap don't fly in the real world.

  • @Monasukapanough WHITE LADY?????? BOW WHEN YOU SAY THAT BOY! YOU ARE JACKING WITH THE WRONG PERSON...ppl come here to listen, learn, etc..you come here to be a hater. You aren't "Real", you are just a little white man, probably 5'8", or so..short man's syndrome. ROTFLMAO..kmsl.

  • @AnnieOaklie63 hahahahaha just keep making yourself look dumb hahahaha Here again is your own words on what you are ""where an English man took one of our women to be his "wife"...and there it begins..then the Irish, Scotch/Irish, German"" thats your words not mine, now go play with your new age plastic indian friends.

  • @Monasukapanough why don't you read that carefully...again. u-lv-no-ti-s-gi

  • @AnnieOaklie63 "I have traced my heritage back to the 1600's..where an English man took one of our women to be his "wife"...and there it begins..then the Irish, Scotch/Irish, German.." Yup I read it carefully enough. Your white, now move along.

  • Ok Cheroke Trivia Time!!! For those of us that do have Cherokee blood, be it Eastern or Western Band....1)what does the Orange represent in our flag? 2) what do the 7 stars mean? 3) What are they? 4) Name them.

Anyone got answers...I'd love to hear some answers and see what ppl know.

  • No really, these guys are from the Eastern Band in Cherokee, NC..they come to the Western Band's Cherokee National Holiday every year and do dances, give history lesson and such to all who come, it's free and yes you can bring your big dogs in ;) wa do a na da nv tli

  • I don't think that they were that fat.

  • "THE K-KEY " ME KEVIN JOSEPH O'CONNELL" JUST PUT UP A VIDIO EXPLANING HOW AND WHY I AM THE KEY,I HAVE ENOUGH TO SHUT DOWN AN ENTIRE TOWN,BUT NOT YET I NEED MORE POWER,PEACE

  • I'm soo Proud to be Cherokee!!! & I got the DNA Test to prove it :)

  • AMAZING GRACE! you know? this song is cherokee indian's song in American. and Indian in American massacred 60-100 million indian by Christianity

White people.this song is not related to Christianity.

  • @cuwnrdlwkrlawjddlf no, you got that wrong, it is translated different..it tells of the "Great Father"..you idiot!

  • maybe before they were emigrated Thousands of years.skeleton and face are same with korean.

  • It's asian ethnic .Ancient northeast Asia ethnic. Ancient northeast Asia Country was only korean ethnic .Manchu Area In the present.

  • I've been to your museum twice, and I love it! I

  • my tears are still on the trail, somewhere, but the Spirit is with me.......

  • @mspollynicole Youtube search the cherokee freedman, they was the lsave of the cherokee, they was forced down the trail of tears and made to carry the cherokee luggage....made to build their houses, plow their land, gorw their food, wash their clothes, cook their food, .....then the cherokee broke the treaty of 1866 and kicked their slaves out into the street....learn what they don't tell you....

  • @Monasukapanough EXCUSE ME~~~~~~~ and that's a crock of crap, go look in the Dawes Roll, Freedman section..we made them a member of our tribe...u-lv-no-ti-s-gi

  • @AnnieOaklie63 it is not a crock, it's the truth. You may want to youtube search cherokee freedman before you speak any further on the freedman subject lol.

  • @AnnieOaklie63 You also know the South east is not real cherokee territory also right? The Cherokee came from up in canada and had not been in the south east long before Christopher columbus got to America. The south east areas that the cherokee claim as theirs today was actually mostly creek indian's land.

  • @AnnieOaklie63 You care to exlaine why the Federal Cherokee have been trying to tell congress to give them "exclusive" rights to the Casino industry in North Carolina? Care to explaine why every time a tribe is up for federal recognigtion the Federal Cherokee start trying to boycott it? The Federal Cherokee is nothing but a genocidal hate machine and wants to destroy the majority of the Native population. They are highly against unity of our native people.

  • Native Americans did not have princesses most were ruled solely by chiefs who looked after the people when they died I'm sure the next man the tribe considered to have the ability to lead were given the title chief. I am only part Native American but even I can see this. Also please don't say someone can't be part something because I am I love Celtic music and culture (I am celtic) I love Native American music and culture (I am Native American) I love Jewish music and culture (I am Jewish)

  • I'll say the biggest part of the vast confusion over ancestry is where Tsalagi comes from... The "old south". In Texas until I was 10 years old it was illegal for a non-white to marry a white. And that was one of the milder laws.Louisiana still has a "racial percent" law. If you're more than 1/32nd non-white you're non-white. Yes it's stupid beyond belief but that's what it is, and now some reactionary supremacists are saying it's not enough. It's hard for me not to hate them.

  • @JonahtheFigPucker You can say, as I do, that you have Cherokee ancestors but more important, living Cherokee kinfolk. And that's the important part, the nation that lives now. The Lumbee v Klan confrontation can bring pride, the Trail of Tears, well, tears. History is to build upon, not to dwell on. Preserve the language, it's what is under attack now. There are some who urge that ONLY english be spoken even at home "for the children's advantage in school".

  • The part of me that is Cherokee, is my soul.

  • @shood1943 I plan on talking to as many children as I can about how awesome their herritage and how they should be proud. I am a girl scout leader and I am working on getting a troop in Cherokee. As far as the Drama goes I dont really know what to do. They dont care if we are proud of it or not as long as they are making money. I plan on becoming an example in the community. Thats what Im working on until I can think of something else.

  • My family line on both sides have Cherokee my family back several generations are on the dawes roll. I on the other hand after several generations am only 1/4 Cherokee have olive skin tone my sister has red skin tone. This bother me YES I understand the natives speaking of being 100%. I am proud to say that I have the Cherokee blood no matter what amount that runs through my veins or the fact that my family mixed with Irish,my native family walked on trail of tears but one came to KY & stayed.

  • well, we know they weren't starving.

  • I doubt very much that the Cherokee Indians and others in the nineteenth century were fat like that

  • @GalaktikBurst did you really say that you were cherokee because your white mother said so? really? that just blew my mind. only a white person would say some crazy shit like that. every real native knows that if a 100% white person says anything it probably ain't true. can you speak tsalagi? what clan are you? what religion are you? in other words...your white. be white and be happy. if you wanna love indian ppl...fine...go to europe...that'll help us out.

  • well,i guess blacks was knocked out of the tribe thing, not to sound rude or ignorant, but its like they banned with whites and wanna start acting like them demons do,whites hurt alot of cultures and his is more proof,my dad was part African American and Blackfoot,my mom is is Cherokee and Blackfoot n white so i know im part Native and care less who says shit about me,i respect the land and people, but will defend with a vengeance racist shit people who think they can control my home

  • @Schattenbluete Please read your own comment. All races being combined into one means no more Indians. And if this happened through relations and not mass murder than that means Indians were bred out. So, you are advocating breeding out Indians, and blacks, and everybody else for that matter. And advocating breeding out races is called ethnic cleansing. Also known as genocide.

  • gym member ship for these cherokee...

  • Can someone please inbox me and tell me If I am wrong.my great grand father was white and my great grand mother is Cherokee and blackfoot. My grand father is black and my grandmother is white and Cherokee. My mother is black, white and Cherokee, my father is black. What does this make me? Do I still have the right to embrace my Cherokee and Blackfoot roots? Please answer thank you(:

  • @teeherawr

Urm no, you are not a Cherokee. LOL

  • @niamtxiv a nice no wouldve been nice bitch <_< Just wanted to know.

  • @teeherawr as I understand it, you're part of the tribes, even if you have a very small amount of their blood. so I'd say yes.

  • @Schattenbluete Thank you

  • @Schattenbluete

The Cherokee nation tribal laws say a person need only be 1/16th, and be able to trace their ancestor on the Dawes Roll.

  • @cbarsonfire I have traced my heritage back to the 1600's..where an English man took one of our women to be his "wife"...and there it begins..then the Irish, Scotch/Irish, German..My family is buried in OK, with the blanket of the Chiefs on their coffin with their name embroidered into it DOB/DOD..and the Cherokee Anthem is sung..aka Amazing Grace by the Singers of The Nation. It's BEAUTIFUL! I miss my Aunt!!!

  • @AnnieOaklie63

Tracking your people means something. Being able to visit the holy burial grounds of our ancestors is a majical feeling. May peace be with you on your journey.

  • I can;t prove mine because they are dead :( they shun me at pow wows it is bull I embraced it my great grandmother and great great grandmother were full cherokee but you tell that to the natives at a pow wow they look at you like you are a nut

  • @Southernbelle1802 I mean I can but I don't know where to find out about them at all whatsoever

  • What's up with all these fat people in native outfits? Is there no such thing as a cherokee that is in shape?

  • These Samoan Indian.. they are big and fat..

  • I'm Saxon, but I love the Indians because they don't take shit from people, well at least not without a fight.

  • Our seditary lifestyle is what makes our people this way. We were roaming people that never sit still, but white mans way, look what it has done to us. People can say what they want, you have your own opinions, but it's fact that our people were not made to live these ways of today. These ways are an abomination to our people and continues the genocide of the Europeans. But thats OK, we will survive the settlers and rise again, without their ways... Filled with hate.

  • quit bredding outside the race and bloodlines and then the quantum requirements wont be needed!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @lion3p0 natives that date outside their race are selfish. we are an endangered species. i know ppl want to feel free to fall in love with whoever they want but that is only thinking about your own personal short term happiness. we need to get strict and stop letting wannabes and apples define us.

  • @yien jeez, you really think that? Those kind of thoughts feed racist behaviour. As a Lakota once told me, we're all related. It doesn't matter what skincolour you have, what religion or culture. we all live on this earth one or the other way. Wouldn't it be better, if the world would only have one "race"? The "mixed" race?

I'm part russian, austrian, italian and Tuareg - but hey, who cares? I'm welcome everywhere.

  • @Schattenbluete Your welcomed up in Cherokee. The membership is just a stupid thing the goverment came up with. Most of my family are either Eastern Band or Cherokee Nation. I dont have a card because my ancestor is on a different roll which is the Guion Miller roll. I still have my papers to prove but why do you have to prove? There is just alot of wannabs today

  • @john19362 what does this have to do with my comment earlier? XD

Anyway, to have a card to prove is really stupid. O.o

  • @john19362 Membership being a way the U.S. government can keep track of how many people they've screwed out of land, lifestyle and heritage. One of the things BIA is doing is taking away the sovereignty of the tribes/nations.

The Tigua in Texas and most of the tribes on the borders have triple citizenship, tribal, U.S. and Mexican or Canadian. It was one of the last things Bush did as governor of Texas to try to change that. The case is still in courts. The hanging point was over casinos.

  • @JonahtheFigPucker The governor of Texas has really few powers, the one-time joke was that the third runner up in the Miss Houston contest had more power. The ones he and now Perry have, setting the school curriculum and treaties with Indian Tribes. There's only two recognized tribes in Texas, the Tigua and the Alabamu-Cushatti. It was a sad day and will continue. They've even had a recent court ruling that Geronimo's body belongs to the Skull and Bones society, not his family.

  • @Schattenbluete that is not racist. what do you not understand about "endangered species"?? no the world would not be better if it only had one race. THAT is the attitude that feeds racism. that attitude of wanting to breed out the "undesirable" races is called ethnic cleansing. historically, white christians could not handle other ppl being out there so they set up boarding schools, breeding programs & concentration camps. accept others, don't breed them out. you are a racist.

  • @yien dear, I never said anything about breeding out. I was talking about combining all races. Or rather seeing all "races" as one. no differences.

  • im 1/6 cherokee and im sad to see how my ancestors decndendts have become as they are im mostly german and welsh and a bit jewish i took after my german and welsh father (i have blond hair as he did only myhair has stayed blong (well both of my parents had blond hair as a child) but my grandmother on my mother side is dark skinned where i am very lightskinned and have green/blue eyes and the german noes

  • @blazeclicker Your descendants? after that lineage? I hope that's a joke...you should be proud of who you truly are (as should everyone) If you're a Celt be a Celt ,if you're a Teuton be a Teuton,if you're a native be a Lakota or Tsalagi,or Dineh. In this day and age be yourself.

  • @blazeclicker um......... you cant be 1/6 only 1/2 1/4 1/8 1/10 and so on also no offense because i thought i was 1/6 too but my mom said i was 1/8 not 1/6 i know confusing

  • @byrongondi It's possible, but only if it's found on both sides of the family at an irregular frequency. One side would have to have enough of that blood to count (like 1/4) but the other cannot have enough to generally qualify (like 1/16). For example, if one person has two parents, one 1/4 Cherokee and the other 1/16, they would be ~15.6% Cherokee. It's less than ~16.6%, but it's as close as I could go.

In practice, for many mixed people, the numbers aren't as easy to measure.

  • Cherokee NC is a nice place to visit. However you have to to understand the reason for commercial carnival trinket shops (I think one I went into was run by Russians) was in the beginning a way for native peoples to earn a living by showing people 'real live indians'. Now many are tacky trinket shops. However, new developments are nice to see and the Museum, craft coop, and the play are nice things to see and I think worth it. Keep in mind why it is all here....

  • not to be downer on fellow natives but damn, we need to stop eating shit and work out. look at that, its bad when you look at something like that and cant fully allow yourself to feel pride in it. i laughed when i saw it im sorry, first thing i thought was when they said "you", they mean burger? it wouldnt be that bad if it wasnt an epidemic.

  • @SemperFidelisEleven LOL....they just need some gym time and stop being so lazy!!! Why would anyone even entertain the idea of being on film looking like that?

  • Love this video and the culture it entails, thank you for posting. I have family in Cherokee, North Carolina and can't wait to get down there!

  • We are looking for you? hahahaha. More like, they are looking for a burger joint or a weight watchers meeting!!! The whole Indian (native American p.c) has become a joke. Just for the craic Im gunna say I'm Cherokee blood too! You yanks don't know what you are! Some say "I'm Irish" and you dont even know where it is, others say "I'm German" (bet you kept that quiet in the 1940's). Just to put you all straight. You're AMERICANS! Now stop this crap.

  • what the hell is this what they do im glade we took over there land

  • @mebluray Wow.

  • @mebluray i should kill u the way my people have killed for century

  • @mebluray if it wasnt for the AMERICAN INDIANS you would not be here . white america would not be be here at all , the people of this land tought whites how to survive , what plants to eat and how to hunt among other things . and where do you think our constution comes from . next time think befor you open your mouth and make your self look stupid ok.

  • @dawala1000 ya you suck! i still hate them

  • @mebluray is that all you have to say . wow my 5 year old nephew comes up with better insults lmao what a troll you are .

  • @dawala1000 i used to lick cum...ur cum

  • @dawala1000 Although the Iroquois "Constitution" is similar to the US Constitution, this American document was actually inspired more by the European "Age of Reason" and the "Enlightenment" movements than the Native Americans' government system. I'm pretty sure Thomas Jefferson and the rest didn't consult the Natives for helping construct it.

  • what a lot of fattys

  • i went to science camp in big bear and i was always ahead in my group because i love nature and we went hiking everyday.when i was leaving after that week i felt like they were taking me away from my home and family because nature felt like home and the animals felt like my family.and it was almost like i could animals im half cherokee and thats where i get my love for everything from

  • @Raptor3400 man shut up you don't know how much racism we have to go through of our everyday lives its hard enough to know were going through poverty and now racism Damn....

  • Nuh wah doe he yaw duh

  • Im cherokee

  • Wondering how the economy is in Cherokee, NC. Looking for relocation options. My brother said there was a lot of out of town traffic even though the weren't any festivals going on. The town I'm currently living in seems to be on the way to the graveyard. Gossip and facebook addiction in every direction. Looking for a fresh start and get back to my roots.

  • I love Cherokee, NC. I've been there several times and plan to go back this week! i recommend everyone go there atleast once in there life. Go tour the village, see the outdoor drama and eat an indian taco @ Paul's on Tsali blvd! The season for the village is almost over so get over there today or you'll ahve to wait till spring!

  • Amazing to me how many Black people are Cherokee. Even our Indian friend straight off the reservation is Black. Yet they never show that Cherokee ,on TV

  • I have full blood relatives around NC

  • iam part cherokiee if my grandmother would havent got marry to a well i do not know what he is

  • My Cherokee ancestors were part of the band that didnt go on the government Trail of Tears. They hid in the woods and founded Cherokee NC. I am unable to prove my specific tribe, therefore I cannot join my tribe. My mother and grandmother researched the family tree but came to a dead end upon native american records. I am VERY proud of my Native American Ancestry, and have walked the streets of Cherokee NC. Mostly commercial now, with true actors, not proud natives.

  • @AUTigerFan36 First there still our true Cherokee in the village. don't go by the fakes on the road but the ones who teach us. I too am part cherokee but sadly we did go down the trail of tears but my ancestor stoped in missiours instead of going all the way to OK. We are just a few documents short of having proof but those documents were destroyed in a flood a long time ago. I'm proud to visit Cherokee every chance I get.

  • Why are you looking for us.....so you can eat us. Fat indians, now I've seen everything.

  • @Raptor3400 smh shut the hell up

  • Im Cherokee. Im even on the role. I was in Unto These Hills and then I realized how lazy our people have gotten thanks to the government. I used to be proud to go and watch Unto These Hills but last year being backstage it makes me sick to think that all the tourist come to see nothing but lies. Half of those people backstage honestly dont give a shit about their herritage they just want the money and the chance they might become famous...............Sickening

  • @MusicalChick15, true.. i'm only 15% cherokee in my bloodstream, but i have pride in that little bit and wont humiliate myself just so i can get money and be lazy.. +1 on your comment.

  • @MusicalChick15 What do you plan to do to change this?

  • @MusicalChick15 Hsiyo Cherokee blood runs Thick in me from my Great Grand floks the Hicks and Kirkland the Long the Nash the Malone the Giles the Key the Webb all great grand mothers and great grand fathers. I am kin to the Chief Michell Hicks the same blood that is in me runs in hem but i see that Money is there god you can see me on face book James m Webb the only one that has a Indian out fit on you are welcome to send me a friends request i will add you Wado

  • Divide and conquer. Thats what they have done. Mostly everyone with american roots that go way back have some native american in them, Especially African Americans .Because around the time of slavery , indians and africans were mostly together. I say im African American when asked my race. But my family are all from NC and my grandfather is full blooded cherokee. But i dont think full bloods should talk down about people who wnt to embrace every ansectory they have. smh I gues the white man won.

  • I'm a little less than half cherokee, as my mother's family is not quite full blood, but the true white ppl in her direct line, were few and far between. My family is from GA, and AL, as well as NC the western parts of SC. (the foothills) My family didn't enroll, and now they got that big casino, and all the ppl on the rez seem to think they better than us. I guess it's ok tho, I know my family was a bunch of 'wanna b's' only, they were INDIANS TRYING TO BE WHITE!! isn't that ironic?

  • yea ima 1/4 cherokee baby and tongan how the fuck does that happen?:/ and other stuff but still

  • People don't need to prove shit. Aslong as they have the love and understandings. I hate how the nation has become "Prove your blood or get out".

  • @RastafariPoet the dawes roll is just another way of keeping natives seperated

  • @RastafariPoet it sucks that ppl have to prove this or that. but natives have a problem. everybody and their momma (and cherokee princess g'momma) wanna be indian now. we can't have that. we are an endangered species. and constant breeding with non-indians is gonna make sure we go extinct. other races (besides aborigine) are not going extinct so they can mix all they want. but when these wannabe come in and dilute our gene pool it hurts our future. especially w/ BIA trying to take away status.

  • @RastafariPoet I have to say that I was very frustrated to learn that I had to have a card to be Indian! But I got one anyway. LOL It's not a rez that makes an Indian. It's the blood. Grandma always said the blood would tell. I have returned to Native ways, and I am more content in my connection with the Creator and the Earth Mother. I know who I am and how to be in the world. I don't give a damned what anyone else thinks!

  • @MsAKSfan Amen and Amen. My grandfathers sisters, all of them quarter blood, and one married a Full (as far as genealogy goes) blood man, took away the family Bible and hid it from my father and his twin brother, once they found the entry that Grandma Nation was born in Talequah. Racism still runs deep in some areas but, when asked what Race I am I simply say Human. It's how we are created and we should not disrespect the creator for doing that. Tsalagi never died and will be until the end.

  • @JonahtheFigPucker yes, I'm proud of my ancestry, but much cannot be traced though 3 of my grandparents had Indian blood... half or more. Indians passing for white do not leave a very good trail. And old ones keep the secrets until they are too old to remember the details. We are still looking. My grandmother, we found her father on the Cherokee rolls. I'm proud to be Tsalagi, a True Human Being. I love that most Indian names mean that...

  • @MsAKSfan Very true. There's an old southern saying about family, You can pick your friends, and you can pick your nose, but you can't pick your friends nose. But basically people are, white and red and center, deciding to choose who their family are, and throwing away those who aren't pure. I have 8 brothers and sisters, one of my sisters has a different father and one a different mother. I call neither of them a "half-sister". Which is a really sideways manner of saying the same thing

  • @JonahtheFigPucker about purity of blood whatever that means. Tsalagi were the largest nation and part of the 5 Muskogee (creek) Nations in the south. It takes in a lot of land (and a lot of swamps LOL hence the name) and a lot of people. How pure does the Tsalagi blood have to be? If a Tsalagi woman married into a Chikasha family, would their children be Cherokee or Chikasha? That's where a legalist wrangling over purity leads and really damn quickly. Our relatives should think about that.

  • As to the term "Princess" thank the British for that. I don't know why exactly, maybe because their own aristocracy is so badly skewed, the current queen's grandpa changed their name to Windsor from Saxe-Goetheburg because he was fixin' to make war on his cousin Kaiser Wilhelm on behalf of his OTHER cousin Tsar Nikolas who had apparently ordered the assassination of their other other cousin. A very twisted family tree that even includes dracula. They prefer dealing with royalty.

  • @JonahtheFigPucker We have the right choose. I'm proud of my Indian Blood and my White Blood, but I find the most comfort from my Native Spirituality. More than I ever did from Christianity. I feel like I lost a lot by not being raised with Native Peoples, but so it is. That loss came from the law of the land: Assimilate or annihilate. If you wanted to live off the rez, then you had be white to hold property and to defend yourself in courts. Survival meant losing your heritage...

  • @MsAKSfan And of course the marriage laws.My father-in-law was dark enough to pass for African but was Tsalagi but also listed as white on her birth certificate. Because it was in Texas. The alternative would have been legally bastardy. They actually still use the term Illegitimate to describe human children. Can you believe it? A child being born illegal. It's beyond insane. But it was the law not to marry outside your "race". There was a reverse of that law, in the 1880s and 90s. in Oklahoma.

  • @JonahtheFigPucker It was to keep White men from marrying Indian women to obtain tribal land. For a while it was the statute that if your father was white, (and not just in the Cherokee Nation) then you were legally white. Or, in the rest of the south, "colored". Like God took a crayon to you or something. Louisiana still has that, if you're 1/32 "colored" then you're colored, but if you're 1/32 white you're not legally white. It doesn't go both ways in other words. All about segregation laws.

  • @JonahtheFigPucker Now isn't that about the most ridiculous think you ever heard? I tell my students, we are the only people in this country who have to carry a card to prove who we are! I've got a full blood grandmother. And a half blood grandfather on the other side, his wife is at least half. My grandfather was dark. But then he was a farmer and worked out in the sun. He was tall and thin. My full blood gram was too. Other Gram was short and plump! You can see the Indian in them.

  • @JonahtheFigPucker That perhaps explains a situation in my family. My greatgrandmother became pg, she was Chaktaw, we believe, the father was Cherokee. Either he would not marry her or could not. He said he could not. She never forgave him for that and said he would never see his child. My gram was full blood. But she only started telling us the stories before she died... then only briefly, because she could not remember details. We have traced his ancestry and found him on the rolls.

  • my mom from nc i have alot of hair i get it from my mom her mom then her mom i believe that i have o much hai because i am mixed with native american but hair is hair but my mom told me we have native american blood

  • Osiyo! I am only 1/4 Cherokee. My mother was 1/2 blood. My grandmother was full-blood Cherokee. We come from the northern Georgia, western North Carolina area. Around Red Clay, Georgia. I used to go to Powwows in Cherokee, and at Boone. I haven't been in years. I miss it. Thanks for the videos!

  • Woodard cheroky,greagory portee,dancy here,Vivian ok and 8 kids lol

  • i know one of the gentlemen in this film!

he's "sonny" he's so damn nice!

i have known him for years! one hell of a guy!

    god bless him! :)

  • so many indians are mixed with blacks...you dont know your geneology

  • these dudes are real natives ! :)

  • it isnt the color of your skin that makes you more cheokee...many cherokees dating back to the early 1700's were very fair skinned

stop being a hater against people that are entitled to the same things that you are cuz yer dark...besides...we fair skinned cherokees dont want any money jack! it is about preserving a way of life thru language and customes

  • ur dad couldnt be black and indian..he would of got killed.

  • @GeorgiaBoii32

There were many black Cherokee's throughout history, the reason most were the descendants of run away slave who fled to live with the Cherokee.

  • @GeorgiaBoii32 that's bs

  • eres negro nunca dejaras de ser negro africano no cherokee

  • indumbs

  • lol

  • actually most cherokees aren't full blood ,,no way to really prove it .. the nation has always been very accepting of other cultures living with them instead of oppressing or rejecting .. which is why we are all such a melting pot..the stories tell us about the lost tribe of levi..so them we are hebrew as well,,most of the cherokee who went on the trail of tears were as little as 1/16th ...don't be a hater.. we all need each other..

  • there's alot of full blooded native american cherokee but there dirt poor the white people took over the cherokee nation and they take all the money that the government give them to live off. and you can't be a full blooded cherokee cause they mixed with other tribes over 40,000 years ago alot longer then that but the white people you see just want tax cuts, cherokee are dark skinned people. my mother is a full blood native american cherokee and meherin and she's dark not white.

  • this is so very true, real Natives are dark skinned, everything you said makes sense..

  • @KYMAMI that's not true. at all even if you look at the old black and white pictures where people look really really dark. it's because back then the cameras only registered one color of the light spectrum (blue) it made things apear darker i challenge you to get one of those pictures and put it in photo shop and incorpoate the outher colors and see how much the skin lightens.

  • @KYMAMI part 2 I'm getting my bfa in photography in college so I know what I'm talking about actually I saw a vid of it on youtube too so if you look you can find it with out doing it yourself.

  • @KYMAMI also compair the face to th e hands often thet are darker than the hand it's because of tans.

  • @KYMAMI Uh, no. My father, full blooded and enrolled Eastern Band Cherokee, was about the shade of medium skinned Italians. We're OLIVE in the East. Not brown, not "red," but olive.

  • @KYMAMI north america is a big place and not everybody was dark. just like europe, asia and africa not everybody was the same skin tone on each of those continents. ppl always trying to fit indians all in one category. cambodians don't look like chinese, egyptians don't look zulu, italians don't look english and cherokees don't look navajo. granted now we have wannabes claiming indian but that is just one more thing they trying to steal from us.

  • @0102106kls

a little racist if you think about what you wrote. Not all white people who have Cherokee heritage use it as a tax cut. Most mixed bloods such as me feel that being just a little bit cherokee means that we are of a proud and honorable race.

  • @hickmangirl1 that's true even now our tribe does care about blood percentage all you have to do to register to the tribe is trace one (1) ancester to the role. tsilagi have always been very accepting of all races and cultures. it has always been in our culture and laws and in our structure. It's been ok to marry outside of the tribe.

  • powhatan means king in english the name came from the cheif that took over the east coast natives before the white people got here. cherokee is the name of one tribe of people there are different tribes of people in the powhatan.

what ever group cheif powhatan took over was in the powhatan group of natives from new york to south carolina and from va to kentucky was in the powhatan group there all east coast natives.cherokee ,maherin, and all the others there all family any ways

  • @0102106kls actually, the closest word to "king" would be mamanatowik. "powhatan" was the name of the place he was born. the powhatan had influence all over the east coast BUT the cherokee were not part of that empire, neither were the meherrin, in fact they considered powhatans enemies. they made deals with other tribes AND the whites against the powhatan empire.
