If South Africa had been a better country I would have packed up and left for it for a number of reasons. I am Dutch, my girlfriend is British and a part of the countries heritage is a mixture of the two. So it would be easy to fit in. Afrikaans.. is easy for me being Dutch. If South Africa had been a better country I would have packed up and left for it for a number of reasons. I am Dutch, my girlfriend is British and a part of the countries heritage is a mixture of the two. So it would be easy to fit in. Afrikaans.. is easy for me being Dutch. And she of course speaks English.
One the coast the climate is good and it isn't densely populated. The only real problem is called ANC and the results that come from it.

visited SA in 2004...heard all kinds of horror stories, but had not one glitch....our luggage met us wherever we went, walked the streets in JO-burg with no incident, travelled on roads we didn't know to Kruger , no incident......anyone we asked black, white, indian...helped and helped kindly...perhaps this is not the norm and we got lucky...but my impression of your country couldn't have been better.

What was OR Tambo called before? A couple of solutions to the stolen luggage problem. 1) Plant small GPS nodes in some bags and let the police and news cameras follow the booty. 2) Just outside of International arrivals at OR Tambo, 'plant' some bags as bait for the crims. Fill the bags with scorpions/venomous snakes, or more effectively, with just enough plastique explosives set to go off on a cell phone call. Same as IRDs - very effective in Iraq. Hardly a blip in Jo-burg's crime murder stats.

@maakus81 Organized war is an army, not rag tag guerrillas who simply annoy an army. The only organized army of a nation to defeat a European power was Japan when they defeated Russia, and the Muslim turk/berber armies. Sikhs and Afghans are indo European anyways.

There isnt 1/ONE country in Africa where there is a large majority of well off people. And about slavery!! Did you mention that many africans sold other africans to the slavetraders? Jews owned all the slave ships and were the primary slave owners of blacks in America NOT whites though SOME southern whites did own slaves.

No Imperial army was sent inland to capture slaves, they were brought to slaving stations along the coast by their fellow black africans, and many were slaves before being sold off. That's not the Jews fault, the blame lies equally with their own countrymen/brothers.

And the "it's the Africans who sold their brothers" refrain is beginning to lose its strength as it used an re-used with the only purpose of "excusing" the *poor* whites who didn't do anything and were FORCED to take the slaves, why not, since we're at it !!! However, I don't see what the Jews have to do with this....
