I am usually against abortion, specially if it's because of couples just wanting to have sex one night for fun and end up having a baby. In some instances, though, abortion may be necessary like in ectopic pregnancies -- at least, that's what I learned in OB nursing. The protesters were wrong at shouting, but then again, let's be realistic. We can't always attribute people who opt for abortion as those who are raped or with rare medical conditions.

This poor kid didn't want to have to go through not only a pregnancy at a young age, but to have to keep a constant reminder of the most traumatic night of her life. Forgive her, for not wanting to have a child that was not only a product of rape, but of incest. THAT is why I'm pro-choice. It's very different when you're close to the case in question.

Once a month, 80% of the woman's fertilized eggs are flushed during her 'time of the month' , which wind up on sanitary napkins and such. BUT- these ARE still fertilized eggs, no? Therefore, I suppose all women who go through this monthly passage is a serial killer?

@crazyability Your world view is twisted. At what point do you consider a gamete a "baby"? Once it's fertilized and becomes a zygote? Or still a single-celled organism directly following conception? Well, guess what, a zygote can't do anything until it's moved far enough along in development to move, or suck its thumb, or turn over, or blink, etc. Even then, it still depends on the mother to survive. It's not an independent human life until it's reached a stage in development to be born.

They either grow up set back in society and in a struggling family or go into the failing adoption and foster process which usually result them growing up in broken homes. I am usually against abortion, specially if it's because of couples just wanting to have sex one night for fun and end up having a baby. In some instances, though, abortion may be necessary like in ectopic pregnancies -- at least, that's what I learned in OB nursing. The protesters were wrong at shouting, but then again, let's be realistic. We can't always attribute people who opt for abortion as those who are raped or with rare medical conditions.

And....not to mention, the statistic of women killing themselves is actual roughly the same as women who committed suicide after delivering a baby carried to full-term. I'm sure it's probably slightly higher because they'd get depressed from what they'd done, but a lot of them would be similar to suicide cases as a result of post-natal depression.

This poor kid didn't want to have to go through not only a pregnancy at a young age, but to have to keep a constant reminder of the most traumatic night of her life. Once a month, 80% of the woman's fertilized eggs are flushed during her 'time of the month' , which wind up on sanitary napkins and such. BUT- these ARE still fertilized eggs, no? Therefore, I suppose all women who go through this monthly passage is a serial killer?

Well, guess what, a zygote can't do anything until it's moved far enough along in development to move, or suck its thumb, or turn over, or blink, etc. Even then, it still depends on the mother to survive. It's not an independent human life until it's reached a stage in development to be born.

They involve a choice concerning what you put INTO your body, not what comes OUT. Drugs are illegal substances because by taking drugs, you are putting the lives of others THAT ARE ALREADY ALIVE at risk, say if you want to drive or operate heavy machinery. With birthing a child, only the pregnant mother is affected.

Your definition of murder is skewed. And it does not conform to a logical definition of the term used by the rest of society. If it's murder, then a woman commits murder every time she miscarries. If it's murder, then the parents in this video committed murder by not allowing a CONGENITALLY DEFORMED BABY WITH NO HOPES OF SURVIVAL TO BE BORN AND THEN DIE ANYWAY. @crazyability That is your problem. You cannot logically decipher the difference between a BABY and a FETUS. A BABY no longer relies on its mothers womb in order to breathe, defecate, and take in food. Once a BABY is born, then it becomes a separate individual. When it is a FETUS, a bundle of cells that have not yet formed a PERSON, the woman has every right to say what she wants to do with it, ESPECIALLY if bringing it to full term would hurt or otherwise kill her.

@crazyability Yes, in VERY FEW CASES. By physicians who SHOULD NOT be practicing medicine. So few of these cases actually occur that it's ridiculous to even mention them. When done by a PROFESSIONAL PHYSICIAN in HUMANE CONDITIONS, the fetus will not feel anything, will not be full term, and will not SURVIVE. You make the mistake of taking the most extreme examples and posing them as fact in ALL CASES, when that is so far from the truth it makes my head swim.

How about you just do this: Go on hating abortion and never once in your life partake of that action. Never have an abortion. Encourage others to adopt. Go out and adopt a kid yourself. @crazyability You CANNOT compare Hitler to an innocent mother. That does not fly in any logical sense. And you should know that. I never said a developing child wasn't human. Quit putting words in my mouth. Until that child is born and does not rely on its mother to perform biological functions for it, its human rights do not overshadow those of the mother. That is reality, and you need to get over your delusions and accept what's real. You missed my point entirely so how better can I say it?

Children are NOTORIOUS for picking up on things VERY WELL and repeating them verbatim, and especially so when they are being INDOCTRINATED to do so. This little boy has probably heard Bible stories told to him from Day 1, and if he's smart like many children are at that age, he probably absorbed all that nonsense like a sponge in beer. Since it's a religious family, they probably speak of lost loved ones as if they are going to see them again all the time. Be more critical of what you read.

But if my mother wanted a better life for herself and had difficulties in pregnancy that she couldn't overcome, I would WANT her to do what was best for her, not me, because she was already alive and had a life to live. When a baby is going to have problems anyway, a humane end is an act of kindness, not malice. I would not want to live with a congenital deformity. That is not living.

Unfortunately, I'm not an adult yet, so I have to wait. Also, It isn't HER body. It's the baby's body!
