you need two amulets, force edge, and to be in spardas lineage to properly use it

Lineage is definitely something necessary to use the sword as Sparda (and not Force Edge), that's why Arkham couldn't use it well in DMC3, because that one thing was the only one he lacked. But why when Dante gives Sparda to Trish as a gift, it manages to keep that form from then on? I can't understand that.

Hmmmm maybe it keeps its form due to her demonic nature. i mean arkham, no matter how strong or changed he is, is still a human. or maybe the lineage is needed to unlock its appearance and potential, after that it may become fair game for anyone else to use, a;thugh probably at a weakend state.

is it me or are game reviewers pussies apparently the normal version of dmc 3 was chnaged in america and europe so the japanese hard mode was our normal mode and apparently that made the game hard really ive fully completed it and apparently they released the specail edition so the could fix the difficulty problems i wonder what very easy on that one woulda been like

i seem to have struck a nerve with some people. XinKotetsu you are more than welcome to your opinion but i can't stand FPS games. When I said the other two sucked, I meant by comparison DMC 3 was a 9.975/10 in my opinion with DMC 2 as a flat out 9. That said my only complaint about any of the DMC games is the camera work.

A Shame that the US and EU version Sparda was nerfed.

In the japanesse version of the game you could control time with the Sparda and you could DT(but not in the Sparda form).

In the US and EU version they replace the control time feature with the Time bag: a hidden item at the end of the game in the demon world.

Alos a shame that you can't use it in DMC4:...man a HD Sparda on PS3 would have been bad ass,don't get why it isn't a hidden weapon...

@Ningflingslinger yeah thats correct. but you are not able to use devil trigger until the end of the game with sparda. its badass cuz its a combination of alastor and ifrit in the game. when you use the round trip you are able to use ifrits meteor move.
