It's just a fan animation. The creator is not even trying to claim it's from the series. Given that, I believe this does fall under fair use. Besides, I doubt anyone is going to believe this is the real Sailor Moon. While it's great, the transformation scene seems to be a little jumpy and not as fluid as the real one.

You know the kids...they can't even tell if it's traced or not. There are so many ugly fan work ( like that talinaproductions' videos ) what flood youtube, I wish they could work more at school rather than trying to make me laugh with so many horrible videos.

Your animation is incredibly stiff and bland. You still need practice on your follow through and overlapping actions. You also need MANY more frames, but for first efforts, this is okay- better than most fan animations out there. Still, you need way more practice in actual animation before this can actually be appealing.

No, celeurmouy and stefano do their own animations with their own drawings.

What does starseed86 do ? I'm sorry, she has done nothing with an animation or drawing of her own, she just trace the drawing and the animation of the actual sailor moon anime, so nothing can prove she can draw and make animations without tracing... unlike stefano and celeurmouy who are 100% original.

So she dosen't play in the same league as the two others.

Yeah..."some" drawings.. there are a lot of awesome artists what can also draw fantastic sailor moon fan art too. Look at deviant art site. But what about drawing several thousands original drawings to make completely original awesome smooth animations ? I don't think starseed86 fits that category..in fact, only 2 people can do that. And they are even not professional..

@annawilifi Yep, I do need more practice with animation and no one is going to deny that, but I can assure you I can draw and animate even without tracing, as you can see in my last video. Maybe not as wonderfully, maybe for just few frames, but I can. Sure it's not much of a proof since that video was rushed so it doesn't showcase my real ability at all, but still. Also, it's hell difficult to draw animations from scratch with the mouse... can't use the pentablet on Flash ^_^
